We had this issue about two years ago, in the end i reset the GPO's back to default on the laptop. secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\repair\secsetup.inf /db secsetup.sdb /verbose then gpupdate Fixed the issue for me.

Have you downloaded and trying to run this on a 32bit OS?, i had the same problem. i just made an iso out of the extracted files using the instructions Theblacksheep gave us on page 6 of this post.

Are the two networks on the same IP setup or on different ranges, could be a dns issues. Ezza

Hi all, im trying to get Iplayer download manger to work with our Smoothwall utm-1000 firewall. I have opened outbound ports 1947, 1948, 4000, 5000, 8888, iv even put my ip address in with all outbound ports open and still nothing. I did have the block p2p option selected but even if i dis-select this, it still dose not work. Any Ideas on this? Cheers.

We have about 30ish EEE 901 for our heads of department and about 5 mini sony vaio for SMT. These are used to accessing their mail on the go and for using in department meetings for reading/taking notes. They all are running windows xp pro with office 2003. On the EEE's i have removed the pagefile to reclaim space on the 4gb c drive.
