Seems that the probem was due to more than one 'absolute rules' being ticked in Global Settings.

We have installed Cover 7 which seems to work OK apart from the following - when the free tab is ticked no staff are ever listed as free (teachers or cover supervisors). When the tab is unticked - everyone shows and staff can be allocated. All the Classroom Staff Details appear to be correct so I just can't understand why the Available Staff Window is unpopulated. Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks Craigg - have checked the logon script and the keyboard settings parameter that you suggest is already there! I am beginning to think there may be a virus affecting the registry.

Recently some of the computers here at school have been loading up with an American keyboard configuration when the user logs on and it is dependent on who is logging on. I think that this is due to a change in the logon script, but I need advice on how to check/change this. It's a windows 2003 exchange server network and as you can guess I'm something of a novice!! Thanks.
