I assume you've already done the tried and tested technique of restarting the MDT server itself , so does sound like a strange issue. Any error codes? I see the message with the codes now
-
Same as we have running on ours then. If you expand the Advanced Configuration > Database in MDT does it sill show the server name/instance that your expecting?
-
The SQLExpress service is still running on the server isn't it, and it's not fallen over?

You can auto assign the licences via the AzureAD admin centre, it's easier than scripting it these days as long as your using the AzureADConnect to synchronise your accounts
-
I've that same e-mail twice this week.
-
Yep just switch the licence straight from A3 to A1. Any additional features that they had will then just be disabled. We did that to our all users when we switches from using A1 to the A1 Plus
-
Are you using the old or new style EAC? Ours appears to be fine in both versions
-
On our Exchange Admin Centre, in the malware section is has a bit notice saying it's moved over to the new https://protection.office.com/ site as of December 2020, with all the other security and compliance features.

Coronavirus: General discussion (see opening post for rules)
Boredguy replied to Dos_Box's topic in General Chat
Well that has been New Yorks answer to keeping eating establishments open during their lockdowns... it seems that covid knows the difference between a normally constructed building with windows etc that open, and marquees/greenhouses/leantos that are in the middle of a garden.... -
Watched this with some friends last year as part of our weekly "Play/Film night" and it was quite an uncomfortable film.

Unless I'm mistaken (which is more than likely) but I thought that only only time that the PCR negative result was being "ignored" was if students had gotten a positive LF test when we all came back last term and that was only for the 3 tests that were done in school. If students get a Positive LF now, but a subsequent negative PCR then the isolation is not required. -
Last time we just used a laptop, webcam and used VLC on it as a streaming host, however as the chicks were being incubated in a classroom, we were only able to allow the video feed to devices on the network and not external in case a student decided to move it around and show the kids in the classroom.

https://get-help-with-tech.education.gov.uk/devices/preparing-microsoft-windows-laptops-and-tablets#getting-local-admin-and-bios-passwords-to-install-your-own-software-and-settings says you can get the details from the Support Portal if you have the login details....

It's just in the connect.ini file, this thread has an example http://www.edugeek.net/forums/mis-systems/219798-multiple-instances-sims-client-one-rds-server.html#post1881931

I'd hazard a guess that the EB-X49 is the new model, as the previous model was the X29 (we have both), but at least all the range seem to have same features and mounting points.

Blue Screen Day - Office 2016 and Printing related
Boredguy replied to _techie_'s topic in Windows 10
well it's based on Chromium, so yes the GPO's are similar to the Chrome ones, and we've been running it for quite a while without any issues -

well as the out of band hotfix resolved the printing issue, you would assume that they included it in the latest windows update for those that had not installed it after the issues with 5000808. Oh and the old version of Edge being replaced isn't a bad thing since it stopped being developed ages ago -
Your proxy server address is setup correctly so it's using the sslfilter I assume, as never had that issue.

Don't worry, she might not remember.. what we talking about, who are you.

We disabled 1:1 chat for students when first setting up Teams 18 months ago, and the "General" channel in most of the subject teams is set to Owner to post only, so students can only reply to the message. Only other time they can use the chat function is within a meeting if they have not been muted.

My pet rock is not doing well today. I think it's stoned

In a car? however as this is a dad joke thread, and to say in focus What's the difference between a poorly dressed man on a tricycle and a well-dressed man on a bicycle? Attire

I sat at 35% power the whole way up... also used the mouse as the keyboard kept wanting to decrease/increase power as I turned the rudder. Also they forgot to include controls for the bow thrusters so that wasn't fair
