  1. Anyone ever used Pc-titan.com for bits? I've been searching all over for some specific OCZ RAM (3x16004gk) 2x2gb, and this is the cheapest place I've found. I'm a little suspicious though, and wondered if anyone had heard of them or even used them. DT
  2. If you're using your internal DNS primarily, then have you got a record set pointing to an internal IP? Anything found on the internal zones should not be forwarded. DT
  3. I'd just lock them down real tight with GPO and add TS shortcut to the desktop. Saves £££s on licences and new software.
  4. firewall blocking?

  6. Arma:3 expected summer 2012.... Also check out Arma:2 If you want realistic ballistics, sounds, kit this is great. IMO, the best game of its kind i have ever played. 7. Maybe it just needed a restart....
  8. I've seen this is 4 different networks - the sessions broker/load balancer does not pass through the authentication (ntlm) properly. Single Sign On for TS Farms Check out this link, it worked for me in 3 out of four cases. DT
  9. Do you have a TS Gateway?
  10. Normally she'd be offered the option of points on her license or an awareness course, but due to the fact she was almost twice the limit, I'd expect a summons. Was she stopped by a copper or caught on camera? DT
  11. PMSL... rubber burns from a giant exploding, bouncy ####!!!!
  12. I wonder if they have the phallus shaped bouncy castle........
  13. I'd setup a logon message using GPO - detailing acceptable/unauthorised use, I'd also back this up with a paper copy signed by the staff. Those that refuse to sign would just be restricted severely until they do so. I'm sure different network managers have their own methods, and will be happy to share them. Darren

    Moving House

as per ^^ Driving license.... £200 fine for incorrect details on license - learned the hard way!
  15. I think I'd go for the Local butcher's produce over supermarket meat anyday. There's not many independent butchers left (in comparison to say 15 years ago), and the quality of the meat is better than that of the supermarkets - which I find has rather a lot of water content.... Take steak for instance; one from the butcher, one from asda which one shrinks the most when you cook it? and which one is redder? Asda, because it's full of water and colourants, and junk that shouldn't be there. Can't say I've tried many other supermarket meats, Asda put me off, and stuff like Venison, rabbit and wood-pidgeon are fairly easily available for me. DT2

    WD Passport HDD

Ok, thanks for the replies. But first of all, it isn't SATA, there's the standard connection - Mini USB which doesn't work, and when removed from the case there's a 12 pin connection - looks like half an old PATA section. I've tried connecting to 4 different O/S's on all the disk spins, but nothing mounts - and even when i scna for partitions nothign is found. I suspect the USB interface is fubar, but unless there's a 12 pin connector out there somewhere there's no other way of connecting the drive..... DT

    WD Passport HDD

Hi Guys, Was wondering if you guys had done any data recovery on these drives. Primary interface seems to be broken, disk spins etc onlooking inside, there appears a 12 pin connection - I take it this is WD's back door connection. Any ideas? - cannot mount the drive tried various utilities both linux and windows. Thanks in advance. Darren
  19. just enable rip/ospf, this will update routes between the devices without the need for static routes. DT
  20. Data Protection act allows you to question any/all info that is held about you and the reason for its requirement. Just ask, if they refuse to tell you you're not obliged to provide that information.
