  1. My inbox is full? Also, I must have had too much coffee now... where is the delete post option?
  2. It means nothing to me....ohhhhhh, Vienna! Seriously, I don't recognise your labels anyway... EDIT: Sorry, shoutbox momentary relapse!
  3. We haven't seen anything rare, but I am pleased we have a rather 'better class' of birds in the garden at our new house. Before it was the proper urban mobs of sparrows, starlings, magpies and feral/urban pigeons... now it is goldfinches, lots of tits (long-tailed, great, coal, blue), we also see dunnocks (like a hedge dwelling countryside cousin of the sparrow) and still get pigeons although they are of the wood variety and collared doves. Although not in the garden, we also regularly see red kites, a barn owl and jackdaws. The latter prompted us to fit a cowl to our chimney pot as they would hop along the roof shouting down the chimneys, also when we moved in and had ours swept, the sweep said there was evidence of historic nesting in ours (house had been empty for nearly 2 years) and they would probably be back! This year they have decided to nest in the one next door, which is OK as they don't have an open fireplace.
  4. Had to rescue a hedgehog from my garden last night, due to the unwelcome attention it was getting from my greyhound when I let her out for her pre-bedtime routine. I briefly toyed with idea of letting our hound get its nose prickled and would then hopefully learn her lesson and be less interested, but thought the stress on the hedgehog would be unfair. I've already become accustomed to having to rattle the door handle and flash a torch about to scare off any cats, due to the last one only just escaping by diving through the hedge at the end of our garden. From a standing start our hound managed to come within an inch of the cat and it had started from half way down the garden (unfortunately our hound tried to go through the hedge as well, but met with the sheep fence on the other side and skinned her nose). Now I've got to add hedgehogs to my list of things to search the garden for! I guess a lot of dogs would chase things like squirrels, cats and hedgehogs, she's interested in the sheep and occasional deer or pheasant, but not as a prey, unfortunately our hound being rescued from racing and being young has a ridiculously high prey drive for small fluffy things. Anyway, luckily my neighbour was out doing the same with her dog, so I scooped up the hedgehog and passed it over the fence (as her little dog knows to leave them alone)!
  5. @ZeroHour don't worry too much, I'm not even sure if I'm asking a legitimate question yet... 😂
  6. Do I have to set that separately from these 'Notification Settings' (the bell icon)? Also do I have to do it for every thread I ever posted in the old forum? Or is it just saying there have been 'no notifications'...? Sorry... it's early... only on my second coffee...
  7. I haven't seen the instructions for this, but all old threads are set not to notify...? Also, all done at the migration date and time? Do I have to visit/post on all old threads to get notifications back on, or is there a setting?
  8. Funny, I like the new 'copy/paste' option better than having to save it and upload... Copy/Paste But the 'drag' to the attachments bar option (then select to insert into the post)... Drag ...and the 'choose files' (then select to insert into the post) option both still seem more intuitive than the old forum version method... Choose files Plus the reuse old media function... Not sure if there's more to the resizing/cropping etc. that I don't use?
  9. Thank you! Just please remember we are very grateful and appreciative "bored, sugared up 13 year olds!" ☺️
  10. It's OK I've done it for you... with a little love heart...
  11. This is what happens on the free tier! 😂 You're obviously too reactive... 🙄
  12. Wait, what?! I've got coffee in one hand and mouse in the other.... How am I supposed to do that? Actually no, don't answer that...
  13. Can't seem to click on anything in the quote box to copy... Never mind, it's a trifle... a mild irritation, I'm sure I'll get better at making sure my posts are complete before I hit submit in future and not remembering/thinking about something I should have said long after the moment has passed.. EDIT: What's the limit on editing...? Time or reply? In other news, is there a 'TOP' button I'm missing somewhere? Some threads are quite long and my scroll wheel hasn't seen this much action since my gaming days...
  14. Yeah and in this case we're the 'l'users... 🙄
  15. $diety aren't we annoying....
  16. Paste! Classy!
  17. Would that be 'Mobile Computing (& Phones)'...?
  18. How do I edit a previous post to include a quote, say if I forgot? Previously I would 'reply with quote' copy the text, something like [ quote ]JoeBloggs-post-123 "Hello World" [ /quote ] cancel that and then just paste it into the post I was editing.
  19. # EDIT: Oooooh... no minimum character limit! OLD EDUGEEK: "Your message is too short, please enter mor......." NEW EDUGEEK: "Hold my coffee"....
  20. @NegativeKillDeath Stop it...
  21. Not sure about the love heart 'like' button... feels a bit...
  22. Congratulations! Well done and thank you for all your hard work!
  23. No, we're still on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC! So, maybe our issue doesn't have anything in common... I only replied because it's a post in the Windows 10 thread.
