I think RIM have done brilliantly! They've managed to make Blackberries cool to teenagers even though they only use 5% of there functionality. Like Dos_Box, i use mine for emails, sat nav etc etc and think it's awesome. Just goes to show what some good marketing can do!

I think i3's will be more than enough to be honest. It's what most of my schools have gone for. I'd only get i5 if you needed the extra performance but for day to day tasks, it might be overkill. Cheers

Suppose it just comes down to personal preference as well as budget obviously! Hp & Cisco are the big boys but the likes of Netgear and the rest aren't far behind! I'm currently quoting on a solution for a school where I've had to compare those 3 and Netgear are a lot cheaper. I suppose hp and cisco have the name and the rep but they also have the price tag to go with it!

Hi all, 2 weeks ago i bought a Samsung 3d tv - UE46D6100 and it's amazing. It's got it all, smart tv, 2d to 3d technology (which isn't brill but it's cool to show people) as well as downloadable apps, skype etc etc. If you look hard enough, you can get a 3d blu ray player and a few glassed in with it. It cost me £1300ish in all but i got 6 pairs of glasses. If your thinking of 42", i'd get 46" because they have no bezel so it doesn't appear as big in your room. Plus i think it's bigger the better in 3d tvs to get a really good experience! Hope this helps! Cheers

Hi Bruce, I'm unsure what agreement you had before. Was it a schools agreement or some kind of select??? There are stacks of different kinds but the EES (if that's what you've been quoted) shouldn't be more expensive. Hi there, Phew – a lot of questions! RDS: Faculty/Staff must have RDS CAL’s in order to use RDS functionality – you can procure these per user. Students can be covered by an RDS External Connector (staff cannot) which may be cheaper than purchasing individual CAL’s – NB: A Windows Server external connector would also be required for every Server which is connected to via RDS VDA: is not included in Software Assurance (this would be purchased where no base o/s is licensed e.g. thin clients), however VECD is. This permits a copy of Windows 7 to be accessed in the Datacentre by staff/faculty who are covered by Windows SA via the EES agreement Bear in mind that the usual RDS licensing would still be required to access the datacentre (if RDS functionality is to be used). Some documentation on VDI/VDA attached OWA can be made available via an Exchange External Connector model for Students, or CAL’s per user (same rules as RDS External Connector apply) How would you propose to limit the number of users? Hi, From my personal experience of eBay, there's a lot of fraud and the fees are a pain in the a***! If you send me over the kit you are selling, I'll see if I can get it sold for you. We work with a partner that buys old kit especially off schools and colleges. You get all the money or you could use it againt a purchase, up to you. They don't buy everything but it's worth a go and it's 100% safe. The business skills thing is a good idea though! Cheers

C2 are massive and do pretty much everything however, they give you pricing depending on how big you are, how much you spend and your partner status. Obviosly when your starting out, it might be hard to get a decent credit limit too which is why I'd recommend using a reseller like me. I can get you better pricing than what C2 can get you and you'll find the level of service much better as distributors tend to only sign account managers to larger clients.
