The only time we ever lose to Misco/Insight/ etc is when they've bought a vast quantity of one particular item from HP. They'll have a "bid" on that item that noone can compete with. Morning guys, I've also heard this as it was me that started the thread mentioned by teejay. I was told the info by a Microsoft distributor who advised that they'd had a price list sent over to them with August pricing on. Now, I've know this person/ dealt with the company for years and years & they've never told porkies before which is why I jumped on here and "warned" you all. However, I've since spoken to MS and they've confirmed that there will not be a price increase. I guess we'll just wait until next week to find out. Generally speaking though, there isn't any money in EES agreements so suppliers don't have much reason to make it up. From my point of view, my rep on here is far more important that the money we make from the agreements so the last thing I want to do is use though tactics with you guys

That's always the reason. Like I said, I'm not 100% but i am 99% sure. I can remember it happening last year but I didnt broadcast it as I know it wasn't true

It's not from them direct but a very very very good source so I'd be incredibly suprised if it wasnt true. I was suprised as I thought MS had an agreement with the Gov so that prices couldn't increase. It's all to "bring pricing in line with the Euro"

Hi guys, Sorry to bring you bad news but EES prices are going up by roughly 30% 01.08.13 If anyone requires a NEW agreement then process it by 25th to make sure you get the cheaper pricing & go for the 3 year agreement. Any renewals haven't got much choice I'm afraid. Anniversaries (annual payments against current 3 year agreements) will be unaffected until the agreement expires. *Just had a chat with MS who are saying this isnt true. I'm checking it out with other people within MS so I'll come back to you very shortly Luke
