Good evening all, I'm having a nightmare and hopefully someone can help me out with what I imagine is a simple problem... I have a Server 2003R2 Based network Hosting DNS/DHCP/ETC. Cisco infrastructure including Wi-Fi I also have 50 iPads and a Mac Server to manage them, I've had everything working great at home. I've setup the DNS on the windows side and everything else on the mac, SSL Certificate and trust profile etc, upon enrolment Im receiving the message "SCEP server configuration is not supported" I have literally no idea where to start with this, I've had everything working at home so I'm not sure sure what the problem is? Many Thanks, Chris

Eveneing, I have a Server 2003 Network that has AD, DNS, DHCP, ETC Roles I have just bought a Mac Server to look after some iPads. It all works great at home (Apple Side) I can login to web pages from the mac server on the iPads but when I take things back to work/school and I'm using the windows DNS it doesn't work! Ive spent a day pressing buttons in DNS but to no great result, what do I need to add and where? Many Thanks chris

Are you able to discuss you config? I'm having a few issues? firstly When I take my mac server into school/work I cannot access the enrolment web pages as the DNS is not forwarding, What do I have to create on the DNS Server to fix this (It works fine at home) Also are you running you devices through the apple configuration first? thanks Chris

Hey, I'm just in the middle of setting up Apples MDM Profile manager and at home it all works great, I can push apps to certain iPads or groups of them, by obtaining them in iTunes then selecting them prom within profile manager for distribution. I can show you how to do this if you need, The VPP should be in the UK soon so will make things much smoother!

Yes, I've done everything in the KB article to the letter, I've restarted IIS and Server RM Connector does authenticate, (If you supply duff credentials, it knows) sometimes I see this instead Server was unable to process request. ---> Could not gather SID for student at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.InvokeAsyncCallback(IAsyncResult result)

Morning, I want to implement a Server 2008 RDS into our network, and would like to know if anyone has any ideas / suggestions / help they would like to offer? I want to host 30 Desktops, It will be internal use only for now, We have an existing RM CC4 network (Server 2003) and getting it to integrate with this is my biggest worry! I was thinking along the lines of... Buy server + CALS, Join Existing Domain, Setup RDS.. any input much appriciated! Chris

No It is a clean install CC4, Reading the Notes on RM's page it sounds very involving, for someone who's only been using RM for 6 mnths, Due to be trained in 2 mnths... -

First of all, thanks for your help, * I cant remember if the .reg key is HKLM or otherwise, until I get back on Monday (Yes, working this week) * There's a whole stack of Cisco switch's but no 1GB's ports unfortunately, however there are some SFF ports, I think you can get adaptors to convert these into Cat5/6? but not looked into this. *I'm a litte apprehensive about update 94/95, would you recommend me doing it this week? and do you need to rebuild everything or can you just use "Update System packages"? having 80 Laptop's and 150 Pc's could take me some time... As yet we have no off-site backup, however I will take the NAS home in 6 week holiday... Thanks All Chris -

Hi Russ I tried doing a package build, but the app wizard didn't notice the changes. Also one server is connected to the network at 1GB the other server is only 100MB. We don't have any spare GB ports on the switch. Thanks Chris -
Hi all. My name is Chris, and I have been managing a CC4 network for the last 6 months. Hopefully you can help me with a few niggles I have. I have wrote a registry key in order to associate .VOB with WMP. This works fine, however the key needs to be ran/installed individually on each machine. This is quite time consuming as at the mintue I am re-building quite a lot of stations. I previously looked at using the RMMC custom registry key feature, however it just did not seem to take. Anyone any ideas with this? Quite often some and/or all printers are not mapping for users. I have seen that this is an issue for users who have applied update 94 and 95, however I haven't and also don't really want to as I don't want the problem to become more frequent. Any thoughts on this? Also, I'm not sure about my backup setup. I currently have a network hard-drive 2TB, this is setup to create a full back-up using Windows own back-up utility, every Friday, and an incremental back-up Monday - Thursday. I have recently just changed to this as the existing was only an incremental once a week. I just wanted to get some thoughts on this. Our server set-up is currently 2 servers, however server 1 hosts all the user data and shared area. and server 2 simply hosts RM photos and videos. This doesn't seem very balanced, I have moved all the printers to server 2. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thank you in advance for your input Chris_Clemo
