  1. Ohohohoho. Basically there are 3 different rolls. Fast, mid and fat. It's all down to your weight percent. If you're under 25% weight, you fast roll. 25-50% is mid, 50%+ is fat. [>100% you can't roll] Fast roll has no end lag [literally roll -> move] and the most i-frames. I played for a while with what was effectively a shirt and jeans, and abused invincibility frames to avoid everything. Rolling - Dark Souls Wiki
  2. The original? Surprisingly, I never encountered bugs in that...
  3. Soon, you will learn the art of fastroll. And then, you will pass through attacks like smoke.
  4. Now you're learning.
  5. DS1. DS2 is easier, but the story is a lot of DS1 throwbacks. It's basically fanservice: the game. 1GB if what i heard is correct. That big enough?
  6. I'd watch a let's-play so you can see what it's like. I suggest Plague of Gripes. He's just started one. [He's looking at it from an art and design point of view.]
  7. [bringing this here.] By "it's not fair" I mean things like broken unavoidable attacks and janky hitboxes.
  8. It's a good game. Super hard, but not "this isn't fair" hard.
  9. Let me tell you about Dark Souls...
  10. The Iron Boars are cool. The fire method is the most fun way of killing it. But I usually do a drop attack from the bridge above it then poke it in the butt. If you have courage: go up the stairs, go through the cathedral, chuck a right at the end and go down the path. "amazing chest ahead", indeed. The narrow corridor to the left of the cathedral loops to there anyway, so you can go backwards and see that's coming. Also, on the left in the cathedral [below the stairs at the back] is a shortcut elevator that takes you back to Firelink. Once you see the "amazing chest ahead", go unlock that. Firelink is kindled once by default. 10 estus > 5 estus.

    AC Unity PC

GTX 870m 16GB RAM some sort of i7 I know laptop GPUs aren't as powerful... but it [censored] came out THIS YEAR. Suggestion. Can we stop calling games/studios AAA based on budget? Ubisoft have shown, once again, they suck at making games.
  12. Request sent.
  13. LIES!!
  14. If you're a DEX build, or have a load of arrows + patience, you can get an OP sword there. Your next challenge. Do the next boss solo. [The Belfry Gargoyles... yes. Gargoyles, plural.] Also, when you summon help, you do half damage. [Or the boss health doubles per summon] Also, also, When you get to the sewer area, do that boss solo as well. [The Gaping Dragon.] It's a million billion times easier solo. And if it has a tail, try to cut it off. You get a cool weapon if you do.
  15. Waiting on 2 packages. 1 from VeryPC 1 from GAME Wonder which one will get here first...
  16. Son. I am disappoint. Nothing beats the feeling of taking down a boss that has been curbstomping you for 2 hours all by yourself. Also, how you gonna git gud if everyone does it for you?
  17. I guarantee it won't. Taurus aint the Dream Team. [it took 4 attempts to beat them. And that was because I tried to do it the hard way the first 3 times.]
  18. Lol, that happened to me. You need to run about halfway down the bridge, then run back to the ladder each time. It keeps it far enough away that you can climb back up.
  19. Black knight or Taurus? Black knights will destroy you. Unless you circle strafe right [i think it's right] and know your i-frames... Taurus... Remember the Asylum demon. It can be done in about 3-4 hits. [Hint: That's a hint.]
  20. It's a meta-joke. You'll meet sunbro soon. If only he could be so grossly incandescent...
  21. You don't need luck. You need to Praise the Sun. \[+]/ And git gud.
  22. Black Knight Sword - Dark Souls Wiki It's a pretty good sword that does extra damage to demon enemies. [so Taurus and Capra, et al.] It's a rare drop, so there's only a CHANCE you can get it, but if they drop off the ledge you can't get it at all. You can still get it later on though.
  23. Aye, tis the Monster Hunter way. Hit it until it stops moving.
  24. You could always just fight him... but those guys are hard. Lore wise, they're literally the endboss's elite guards.
  25. Big black guy? There's a really easy way to kill him if you don't mind potentially missing out on an early item. Trigger him. Go up the tower stairs. Drop off the side, where it's broken. Run and jump back over to where he was. [There's a doorway leading to a drop there.] It looks impossible, but it's easy. NPCs can't jump, so he walks off the edge. The other way is to kite him round to the courtyard area and go through the house [you need the key, it's 1000 souls IIRC]. You get Gold Pine Resin [+lightning damage] from a chest there and the ring he was guarding [+defence at low health]. The resin is useful for some of the bosses and it's pretty rare.
