Yes, tell us about it! We had a miserable time this summer with our old DLINK Access Points and laptops when we changed the encryption settings. All replaced now with new DLINK Access Points and everything works, thankfully!

We do that (or used to as we don't use them anymore) with Dell Computers - all unboxed, hdds formatted - nice image on & no garbage. Now we do it with everything that comes through the door. I wish manufacturers could appreciate that all we want is a machine with just the OS on and nothing else.

I'm with Mattx about Christmas. Every year I forget how much I hate Christmas until it draws nearer and nearer. With me, it's the families aspect of it - the usual blasted saga of who you spend Christmas day with. Which in-laws you go to - you know - the usual ruddy pantomime. For the last couple of years the wife and I have rebelled and told everybody we'd be spending Christmas at home on our own. I went to see my parents last week and got it in the neck again. If I could ban Christmas I would.

Have you changed the type of encryption used? We had an old wireless network with equipment from another well known manufacturer and the moment we changed the encryption used we had all sorts of intermittent connectivity problems which we traced back to the encryption and the wifi card used in all our laptops. Firmware updates (access points and wifi cards) did nothing so we ended up installing new access points across the site.

And it is exactly this kind of thing that has put me off F1. I used to be an avid fan and went to Silverstone every year but this sort of behavior from the teams and certain drivers has turned the sport in to a bit of a farce which is a great shame.

I use the voucher when I get it and go have the free eye test. If they say I need a change to my prescription I then go to Boots and get checked there as well & usually end up buying new lenses from them as they are cheaper.
