    A similar concept to you but I do have a GPO that sets up a scheduled task to run this command at set times. Program / Script: C:\WINDOWS\System32\shutdown.exe Arguments: /s /t 60 /c "Automated daily shutdown, Save your work!" Works great here!

    We went with 16:9 in our suites last year. The more modern LED screens look great for Photoshop. Also the fact that 4:3 screens are really hard to find these days!

    School or personal equipment? I was handed a school laptop a while ago (Bear in mind we upgraded to Windows 7 in 2009 - 10) running XP SP1, complaining that their remote access hasnt worked for years!

    Its great. Use it here with full BYOD and the Captive Portal just works (Controller must be active at all times for that). ~500 Wireless devices - ~80 -100 Active at any time.

    As it is a public facing service I have it installed on its own VM (4 x cores, 2GB RAM, 40gb disk) and on its own VLAN. I'd imagine that depending on the number of your remote users there may be a fair bit of traffic so its own server may be best there again.

    That works great. I'm unsure the exam board will be able to name all the PDF's with the users AD name though. OP what naming convention do you use?

    I'd look into doing some form of WMI lookup for that users AD username and then calling the PDF with the same name to display the results. I may be well off here so maybe not!?

    Our external domain name is .co.uk and internal is .local. We use the .co.uk cert for HAP and it works perfectly. We use namecheap for SSL Certs.

    We only use one form of media on our Xibo setups and I use the time of 3600 across the board.

    I did similar in my parents house only using the TP-LINK Homeplug kit. Configured the Adapter upstairs to use the same SSID as the HomeHub and the same WPA key, works great and cost ~£40
