It was parent evening last night and we try to encourage parents to fill in the parent view questionnaire. We get 100 guest usernames and passwords from Ofsted and use them so so parents who do not have their own account already can access the form quickly without having to make their own account. Normally it works fine but last night captcha wouldn't let them get past the the logon screen. Is anyone having the same problem?

I just push it back in and it normally stays put. I get one every month but this is a primary so students don't break things that often. All of the headphones in the box are faulty, some the sound only works on one side or no sound at all. I really need to have a purge and get rid of them.

Yes the cushion comes away but can be clipped back into place easily. The main problems we have is one side of the headphones stops working or they go very quiet even when the volume is turned right up and don't get me started on the length of the cable. Students can sit on the opposite bench and have cable spare.

Could I ask why you chose Impero over Netsupport?

Yes I believe so and if I remember correctly ASM stops you from continuing until the agreement have been ticked. There are no warnings showing in ASM now so I assume everything has been agreed to.

We have been using the free version of Mosyle for a few years and it's working well but just recently when I logon to Mosyle I get a warning saying I remember this warning occurring over the summer which I then went to ASM and agreed to the licence changes but the warning hasn't gone. Clicking through Mosyle trying to find the cause of the error I get to My School, Basic Setup, Apple School Manager, and in the white box next to the sync hierarchy button see the words 'Disabled Account'. Clicking the school name but not sync hierarchy button opens a side panel and everything looks fine with no warnings to be seen. I suppose I need to ask what does this section do and do we need it as we do not import students, teachers or classes from ASM. All teachers are added through Mosyle so I don't think we need it and I see a remove integration button on the side panel but just concerned clicking it will do untold damage.

I’ve never setup radius before so unable to comment on how long it takes but the school had been quoted £540 to set up.

And how much money they can squeeze out of the school.

I suppose you would see radius more if the primary was part of a academy i.e. with the backup to do this sort of thing but the school in question is a standalone just managed by a msp

As title really. There is a technician vacancy at a primary near me so I went for a look round and they were running a RADIUS server which I thought was odd being a smallish primary. Maybe I'm living in the past as I thought RADIUS was for large sites.

The high tank is for hot water and the lower tank for heating.

Same here but it appears the problem is only with the web version of outlook.

We have the crusader headphones and they are good but still break in fact I've got a box of faulty or damaged crusader headphones here with me now that are only good for parts.

My knowledge on licenses is limited so I need to ask, apart from conditional access, what would having P1 over A1 licenses offer to a primary?

Further to my post above, how easy is it to add Paxton Net2 cards into the Sign-In App system? We would have the card reader add-on AKA Sign-In App Tap and it would be nice to import the whole Net2 card list but failing that and as we don't have that many cards they could be added one at a time.

The screen on this inventry went faulty last week and inventry want £1500 for the refresh. Seems very costly for what it is so that’s why I’m looking for alternatives.

Primary using Inventry but looking for alternative sign in system. I have the price of Sign In App but would like to compare price with EntrySign and not able to find any pricing on the EntrySign website which make me suspicious. Just a ball park figure will do either here or by PM. Thanks.

In a primary school and I've been trialling Sign-In App as looking to move away from Inventry and hope someone could answer a few questions for me please. How have you found evacuations and the speed of checking off the students? Using Inventry the office has a printed list for each class which they hand to the class teacher. Obviously this would mean staying behind and printing the current lists after the fire bell has gone off or maybe they know when the fire drill is about to take place and print the list before hand but anyway it would make sense to have an iPad running Sign-In App for each class but that's not going to happen anytime soon. So if you have 1 iPad and are running round the playground checking off the students plus all the staff plus any visitors I expect that would take a significant amount of time.

No I hadn't seen that KB but just looked and it doesn't list powering on or off or sending URLs. I suppose a windows tablet would work but the school really doesn't want to spend any money.

We have a suite with 32 machines all running Netsupport School with one of the machines dedicated to the teacher for the tutor console. Works great but now we have increased our class size to 32 we are a computer short and no room to fit one in, even using a laptop they would struggle for space so I was thinking if an iPad would work for running the tutor console. Netsupport have an ios app called NetSupport Tutor Assistant which looks a cutdown version of the desktop software. Have anyone used this app to control a suite of PCs? We only use school for powering on or off, remote logging on or off and sending a URL to open on the PCs.
