To replace the aging 22" Illyama touch screens I have at the moment - but never use the touch feature! Which one is better and why? Windows Update forced this on me this afternoon. They have destroyed the Start Menu again! The previous version in the last build which was a 9x/Win8 hybrid was great. Now it's basically just a small Start Screen! Anyone else feel the same?

No. I use Sophos from work with the LEAs off site update server. It has found a lot more than MSE. It does, however, need to be balanced by the false-positives and the anti-piracy lobby. All keygens are viruses according to Sophos!

I have used the old DriveStation Duo for years first at home, and now at work as a tertiary backup device. The support is non-existent, as I found when it took days to get the thing to accept drives over 4TB in size. If it is their primary backup - avoid. The lack of support isn't worth it.

Anyone got a Synology DiskStation DS215j? I need to know if I have 2x 5TB drives in a Buffalo hardware RAID enclosure (to the point where if I disconnect either driver and plug it into another PC it reads as normal - so the RAID config is on chip) can I pull one out, put it into the Synology NAS tell it to build a RAID 0 array. Format the second drive in the set, insert it, will the NAS then copy the data between discs? Or do I need to back everything up onto multiple 1TB 2.5" drives and start again from stratch?

Musk will do what NASA doesn't want to, lower cost access to space - this will be a technological singularity that we cannot predict what will happen beyond it. I mean look at how NASA and the USAF launch rockets - they use the same consortium containing the two biggest aerospace contractors of Lockheed and Boeing. It's expensive to put a payload into orbit now, almost as expensive as it was 50 years ago and no one wants to break that little monopoly up. You may think that Musk is just a space taxi, but he will significantly lower the cost for orbit access and we cannot say what that will cause.

Not going to happen. The Orion plan has been purposely designed to be slow, unwieldy with enough critical decisions being so far in the future any future administration will come in and kill it.
