Having worked for Dominos as a delivery driver in a previous life I have one question.............what happens when the customer lives in a block of flats and tries to pay you with a £50 note?

I do find it interesting that the teaching positions advertised there aren't also 'Temporary in the first instance' but every Support position is....

I'm thinking of applying still but I agree the probationary period would be better, I served a probationary period when I was appointed to my current position. I suppose it's something to quiz them on at interview.

Isn't it fairly commonplace for jobs to be temporary in the first instance so the company/school can get rid if an employee doesn't prove up to standard? I'm not arguing for the right and wrongs of this but I have seen it quite often recently, wondered what others experience of this is?

Haven't played in several weeks, mainly playing Guild Wars 2 but sure I will drop in again at some point.

Am I right in thinking you don't start with any weapons? I played for the first time a few nights ago and just had a torch, bandages and painkillers but then I read you start with a Makarov pistol? I loved the suspense, accidentally alerting zombies and running for my life for about 5 minutes hearing grunting behind me before they gave up the randomly dying after climbing on some rubble! Are all buildings guarded by zombies as well? I found about 3 different shacks or larger buildings, 2 shacks had nothing in them and the larger building seemingly had no door I could open!

Ahh, Google told me about Grade 8 positions in some Welsh Universities and it looked quite promising at circa £45k !

It's because it is term-time only although there is scope for overtime in the holidays depending on a candidates strength, it actually incorporates my old role and last year when we had a lot of IT work going on I was in every holiday.

We are looking to appoint someone as an IT Data Systems Technician - this is a role with a focus on the school's MIS system but also acting as an ICT Tech as necessary. A key point about this role is to be able to deputise for the NM (me) during absences. Linky

Had a good couple of rounds against alwayszerohour last night, shot each other in the head a few times in a good old fashioned sniper battle!

So I was taking a break after a string of BF3 matches and started looking at some stats of platoon members, what caught my eye was the 'Quits' stat, I could only be bothered looking at the stats of the fans of the platoon but is seems ArcathWhitefall is the ragequitting king, he/she quits over 50% of their matches! Random stats analysis for the day!

The melee kills are more satisfying in BF3, it is a bit annoying how it doesn't always work and they turn around and shoot you in the face whilst you are slicing around trying to get them.

Or the alternative, the Jihad Jeep as I believe it was known!

Started this as a new thread because I thought it would be good to share! Just had my best moment, it was Kharg island and I was Russki Recon with the SVD, I was on a rocky outcropping sniping in the direction of the US spawn area and a teammate was on the hillside facing me sniping down into the area in front of me, we picked off a couple each when I spotted an enemy sneaking up his flank, I start firing at him not really expecting to hit him but hoping teammate will sus whats going on and turn around, he doesn't and the enemy is now about 20 ft behind him running down the hill towards his back for the knife, suddenly boom headshot and I take him out from pretty damm far away and teammate turns around, realises and thanks me in chat.

I'm out for a meal with a lady friend that night, dammit! Seriously though I think it might be better reducing the minimum players, I've not seen more than two people on it so far during weeknights, people don't seem to be joining from quick matches so we probably aren't losing much?

We had quotes for CC4 over the summer and it was muchos cash. We are stuck with CC3 at the moment and eventually plan on going vanilla but as RM were in quoting for some network upgrade we got them to quote us at the same time.
