So this is the behaviour without the reg key? Your reg key stops the messages..right? Do you actually create this reg key? the only key I have in that settings key is Microsoft.ScreenSketch_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App

Hi thatley we too get this at login, Win10 1903, only sometimes of course. Does your reg key just stop the message? I imagine the actual behaviour will still be the same (e.g. it changes the .html default back to Edge) but just the message is suppressed? I have been recently thinking of Win10 LTSC, but that's another Q altogether..

Hello, did anyone find a solution to this? I can remove the 20+ OneNote printers manually, but powershell get-printers returns nothing, I cant find anything in the registry. Any ideas for a a powershell solution? Thanks

I think what we will do is either clone 1080P to both displays or have an extended desktop with the second display (the 4K panel) set to a 4K resolution. I am not sure if staff will cope with the extended desktop idea though. Thanks for all the replies.

Hello, we are looking to buy Cubase 10.5 on Win10 to replace our ageing Macs. I looked a this briefly last year with v9 and the licensing\deployment was a bit of a nightmare. For simplicity I was thinking of USB dongles, but then I think this still requires some elicenser settings? Has anyone deployed using MSI or silent install? How about the settings to prevent updates etc? can we push out a settings file? Anyone successfully using Cubase in school? Thanks for any ideas/comments.

Hello, we are just started moving from projectors to Viewsonic Interactive Panels. They are 4K and it seems a shame to not use the 4K. So we either need a 4K capable computer in classrooms (££) and clone the screen as we do now, or any computer and extend the screen which may blow the minds of some staff. Then is a standard classroom computer with on-board graphics capable of running the 4K panel and its own monitor.... Anyone had any experience of this?

hello, we are buying some new smart interactive panels, and the smart notebook licensing (around £40\user\year), I imagine the class teachers in the room almost permanently will have a license, but how about supply and cover teachers etc, will they still be able to use the board (write on it with the pens) without a Smart notebook license and without signing into anything?

Hello, we currently use Remote Desktop and a RemoteApp to (amongst other things) allow staff access to SIMS from home. We are now looking at Office365 2FA and with this the RDP access needs to be behind the 2FA somehow. Does anyone do this? Citrix has apparently replaced RDP in Azure. Any advise would be great. I have a test Intune device, it is in a Test Azure group with no Profiles, Powershell scripts or Apps assigned to it. It is simply Windows EDU which has run its autopilot deployment profile. When any user logs in, it goes through the 'setting up your device' business but gets stuck 'identifying Apps' (timing out after 60 minutes and then logging in normally) Any ideas what it is trying to do? I cant see anything in the firewall, filtering, event log etc.

Looking at replacing the VGA cabling to projectors and putting in HDMI, we are finding the cables in the wall sockets are too proud and gets knocked/broken. Even 90 degree ones. Does anyone use a solution where the cable is plugged on the underside or in a protected box. Hello, we have a test Surface Go. It came with Office ProPlus installed on it, presumably Office365 ProPlus ? The question is if we wipe the surface how do we (as Admins) get that version of Office back on it? Our MS licensing is the usual schools agreement OVS. Thanks

I ended up using a freeware called nircmd to set speakers as the default - setdefaultsounddevice speakers 1 - setdefaultsounddevice speakers 2 If we get panels they will run a different command (dictated by a computer group) e.g. - setdefaultsounddevice SmartPanel 1 - setdefaultsounddevice SmartPanel 2

Starting to move classrooms over to HDMI cabling to projectors and as expected sound is now going over the HDMI rather than output to the speakers. It can be disabled manually but is there any ideas to disable it programmatically? GPO, registry etc. I suppose they will all have different names, so could be tricky.. Thanks

Hello, can anyone recommend a make model of a non-interactive panel to replace classroom projectors and speakers. I am really looking at no smaller than 75". Smart non interactive panels are £2000+, Curry's TV's maybe £600, but how long would they last? Has anyone get anything else suitable for a bit of school life? Thanks

Hello, I am finding when I reimage a computer using MDT it creates a duplicate boot manager option in the UEFI BIOS, then on next boot, which is midway through the task sequence, it tries to boot from there and fails. Can I stop this somehow? I feel something in the BIOS is enabled as it’s only just started happening on some new machines. Thanks

I am trying to deploy Adobe CC to Win10 1903 Install: Command line install (setup.exe --silent) works OK for both Acrobat DC and the full Adobe CC suite. Uninstall: I run Powershell to remove Acrobat DC but this doesn't work with any of the other Adobe Apps. Adobe say I should be suing the CreativeCloudCleaner tool but this doesn't seem to run remotely, access denied. There isn't any 'create an uninstall package' anymore since moving to the new Adobe console. How can I remove old Adobe CC installs? Thanks
