Don't know yet.... It's been difficult because I'm so far away (100 miles), so agencies aren't looking too closely, but they've said that once I'm down there, there will be lots of work about. Don't know whether I want private or public sector, though, as I've enjoyed working in education....apart from the students.....and the lecturers..... (That's a joke, by the way!!)

Today is my last day at the College. After 3 years I am moving away from Suffolk, to Northamptonshire, for a better life! Moving in with the girlfriend and looking forward to the future. After a quite awful early part of the year, life has turned around and optimism shines through me like so much sunshine through a stained-glass window! I will be taking December off, to settle in and get ready for Christmas, before looking in earnest for a new job in the New Year. Despite moving out of education (unless a nice job comes along!!) I will still be hanging around the forums and sticking my oar in!! Woop woop! Only 7 hours to go!!!!

I'd inform the lecturer/teacher straight away, make sure I know what the site is called, and immediately go back to our filter and investigate how they got through to it..... Then, block the site.

I deffo think it's inappropriate to have a BBQ much past about half 10..... You'll have consumed a lot of drink....things get rowdy....easy to get burnt! As for seasons, anytime is a good time for a BBQ!!!

It would seem that just a little investigation is enough to quash that rumour. (Who listens to 6th formers anyway??? Sorry MK-2...that's not a dig!) It would actually seem that the Daily Star was about to "out" him. Source: the tap: Is Gary Speed's Death Suspicious? Now, whether this is true, or not, it seems more likely than the first rumour....No?

I can totally identify with this. My ex girlfriend is bi-polar, and having gone through the darkest periods of her life, after our son was born, is now on a cocktail of tablets to keep her straight. The things that I have seen..... Depression, in whatever form it takes, is one of the most debilitating illnesses there is. I would highly recommend ANYONE who feels that they might be heading for it to speak to their Doctor. Forewarned is forearmed, and something CAN be done about it.

I'm pretty sure I've had this a few times.... Have you cleared AD of all older build accounts? When WDS does the build, generally it will build with a computer name of "ADMINISTRATOR1/2/3/4" etc. If these accounts are still in AD AFTER the name change, then this trips up the installation of the settings, as it sees the account for the PC is already in use. I hope this helps!

It is incredibly sad that Football still hasn't managed to identify players who may be prone to this (or, indeed ex-players). You only have to look at the cases of ex-QPR defender Dave Clement, Justin Fashanu, and the German goalkeeper Robert Enke to realise the depression is endemic within sport, and particularly in these cases, football. It is also very sad that the news of another British casualty in Afghanistan is buried by this story.

2 pieces of, quite breath-takingly insulting work there, j17! So, you admit that you think that people who laugh at comedy, that you don't find personally funny, are less intelligent (than you?) and secondly, you take something completely out of context, to twist it to your own argument. This is a forum, where people discuss things. I have to read YOUR posts to successfully argue against your points. Therefore, your assertion that I don't have to read your posts is wrong! I am enjoying pulling your posts apart, as it shows a certain level of intelligence that, I believe, you can only aspire to. I find your posts to be deeply patronising and very insulting. I'm now off for a long weekend, with my lovely girlfriend, where I've no doubt, we shall watch her Jimmy Carr dvd, just to spite you!
-
I apologise, but once again I must draw you to your previous comment... I find that highly insulting, and will continue to do so, unless you retract that statement.
-
I'm sorry, but the inability to see comedy, where it so clearly is, renders you unintelligent!!!! :irony: :joke: :takingthepnow:

Is that an unladen BBC viewer?

Whoa there MK-2 BBC3 air Family Guy!!! I take great offense at the insinuation that BBC3 shows rubbish!!!

I think you'll find that the question "Are you actually a Daily Mail editor" was a comic line. You choose to only take that part of the post, and yet do not wish to comment on the rest of it? One thinks that you are hiding behind the argument of "least intelligent reply going" to stave off replying in an adult and educated way. Instead of a discussion, you seem to want to give and take offense, in any way you can. Would I be right in suggesting that??
-
There's nothing like a good sweeping statement to incite the thread. I presume that is an act of trolling? Stating that people who find it funny "must not be intelligent" is a ridiculous thing to say. In fact, I'd put it at more offensive than the original joke, and for this reason. The original joke is, just that, a joke. However, by the tone of that, and your subsequent posts, that statement is something you BELIEVE. That is a very scary thing, indeed. I would suggest that it was an highly unintelligent thing to post.

If there's going to be ANY pulling on "my lower horn", then i think that should be behind the red door!!!

To be fair, I think there is a lot of sanctimonious rubbish being spouted. Jimmy Carr is one of the top comedians in this country because he can make a room full of people laugh. Whether you find the joke funny or not is completely down to your own sense of humour. Please do not try to foist your opinions about what is or isn't funny onto the masses. I've always liked Jimmy carr, as I also like Lee Evans, Peter Kay, Bill Hicks, Eddie Izzard.......ah...now there is a comedian.... Eddie Izzard....Known for doing his act in drag.....When he first came on TV, it was suggested that a man should not wear heels, make-up and a dress, by the same PC brigade who would tell you which comedians are or aren't funny. And yet, Eddie also does his act in French, and is a great success when he performs in France. Comedy is subjective....that is all you need to know. As others have said.... Don't like it? Don't watch it. If you know you're going to be offended by Jimmy Carr, why buy tickets (or DVD) in the first place???

Just so you all know..... Last night I caned half a pack of Hob Nobs, and half a pack of Gingers.... Do I feel guilty? NO! Did I feel slighty sick? A little! Do I regret it? Certainly NOT!

WHAT???? Anything goes together if you make it sweet enough!!!!! You'd surely eat them separately? Or Apple and cherry together, and leave the pumpkin for after? -
A Cherry Pie, an Apple Pie and a Pumpkin Pie, Each Cooked Inside a Separate Cake, and Then All Cooked Together inside Another Cake Where would you start? Happy Thanksgiving to our American friends!

Have you considered ringing a local college, well known for having an Animal Studies section, and enquiring whether they have room for them? Just a thought....seeing as I work there! I will have a word and see if they have space

How is this news? For the last few months I have had Visidon on my Galaxy S....and I find it VERY useful. When you have a 7 year old son, who wants to play the games on your phone, and a gallery of pictures that you may not want him to see, it makes sense to have an app that can lock certain things. Visidon allows me to choose what he can get into, and uses Facial Recognition for all others. As much as it seems a gimmick, it can be useful! And, YES, Apple will call it "FizzogRecog" or something, and Rory Cellan Jones will rave about it on the BBC website, and EVERYONE will think that Apple did it first! And I call Copyright and Trademark on "FizzogRecog"!!!

Jeez, mate...that's awful. Glad you're getting it sorted though, and perhaps you can pull back a bit on your curious nature, when it comes to the prostate exam? By the way, which surgery was it? Want to know which one to avoid
