    the CLI is extremely hard to navigate but that dose not resolve the issue of the login failed ?

    I have a 5500-ei switch by 3com (h3c) it has been set to factory state and I have started settin it up form scratch. I have set the default ip and can get to it via a browser which is all good but when I come to login as admin I constantly get "login failed". Am I missing Somthing here?

    No Problem, Nothing you can change the computer name after it has joined the domain, but i would not suggest doing this with every computer your deploying. set the name then add it

    You will need to specify a username and password to connect to server if your local pc is not part of the domain yet, you could create a script to map a drive to the location of the txt file? and within the script give an account so it can map. then change your other script to grab the text file from (DriveLetter):\mytextfile.txt SCCM is the best for windows deployment by far!

    I am trying to publish our SharePoint 2010 site via our TMG server. We will be using HTTP for this application, however i create the rule for SharePoint and within the web listener enable HTML Form Authentication the proceed to the next page where i select NTLM authentication. When i proceed to the site i get greeted with the TMG FBA site, enter my username and password and it returns with “You do not have the permissions required to access this Web site. Please contact the Web site administrator.” Im thinking the authentication request is not being passed to SharePoint correctly ?? Any idea's? Jack

    thank you! it works now i don't know the login because its not new and therefor all the default user names and passwords have been changed! any idea on resetting them ?

    hello, i have got a 3com 2916 switch and need to reset it !! so i ordered DB-9 to rj45 and tried straight db-9 config as well as null db-9 but i cant connect to the switch through hyper terminal or puTTy? dose anyone know the pinouts or where i can get a "made up" cable?

    Hello All, im am really stuck !! i have installed a clean 2k3 server and tried installing ssl explorer got that installed but when i tried to add extensions it always failed ? so i removed that and tried Adito SSL and got that installed and configured and keep getting the same kinda error ?
