Do you know if that would cause problems if files are open on from the drive at the time? I assume it wouldn't unless they were going to be saved again.

Any updates to this? We're running into the same issue.

I have it. Took me ages to find it. Let me know where you want it uploaded to via PM -
Speak to your safeguarding lead and discuss the filtering with them. Ultimately, while you are responsible for applying the filters, you shouldn't be solely responsible for whats actually being filtered.

DisablePrintPreview Disable Print Preview Data type: Boolean [Windows:REG_DWORD] Windows registry location for Windows clients: Software\Policies\Google\Chrome\DisablePrintPreview Mac/Linux preference name: DisablePrintPreview Supported on: Google Chrome (Linux, Mac, Windows) since version 18 Supported features: Dynamic Policy Refresh: No, Per Profile: Yes Description: Show the system print dialog instead of print preview. When this setting is enabled, Google Chrome will open the system print dialog instead of the built-in print preview when a user requests a page to be printed. Example value: 0x00000000 (Windows), false (Linux), (Mac) https://www.chromium.org/administrators/policy-list-3#DisablePrintPreview

[SCCM] Automate adding everything to new DP
skell replied to neonetman's topic in Enterprise Software
I personally would bite the bullet and do it manually. Gives you a chance to update anything or remove things you don't want to transfer across. Keeps everything nice and clean. -
Any word on when Capita are actually going to fix this?

Does this method still work? I can't get it to work.

FYI, the logs for the client install are at c:\WIndows\CCMSETUP\logs The two main ones in there are ccmsetup.log and client.msi.log If its failing quickly, the information you need will be in ccmsetup.log Are you able to manually install it from the client, rather than push from the server?

Impero - Chrome app installing on user owned machines

@mjk - Having an opt-in for students wouldn't work well for Chromebooks in school, for example. -
Impero - Chrome app installing on user owned machines

IMO there is probably not a lot you can do about that. They are managed accounts, and as such they are subject to the restrictions we put on them. This would be the same for most extensions I imagine. My thoughts are to inform students this might be the case, but as they are offsite, Impero is inert if you're not connected to the schools network. -
Any .dll files change? A file on the client should reliably change. You could also look at the registry and see if the client version is indicated there as well.
-
File version on the main exe might be a better way to go, if it changes between releases.

They look one and the same to me, judging by the mobile phone contact number.

A few points I'd like to make. - Schools pay for this site. It is not funded by ads. - What about schools who don't have fast CPUs? From what I can gather, it was set to use 2 threads and throttle to use 50% of the CPU. - Computers have a shelf life. The more you stress them, the quicker they fail.

Looks like its gone from the login page for now.
