You can use another input such as the tamper input or door locked status. Then use that as your input for the trigger & action. I suspect if the exit button is wired to the exit button input, it'll be hardcoded on the Net2 board to open when pressed. I seem to think I've come across that myself in the past.

You could move the exit button to another input then use and trigger and action to open the door, which can work on a schedule. However it requires the server to be on to work and has a small delay. So could result in it failing to open the door.

If it has a spare pole on the break glass you can wire it to an input on the Net2 controller. Then using and trigger and action get it to email student support and facilities teams when used. This was very useful for us.

We're running into this issue. The reason is the certificate not matching the domain. They appear to be using SendGrid for mass emails, the links are pointing to customerservices.pearson.com which uses a certificate for sendgrid.net. Hence the issue. I personally don't feel happy putting a bypass in place for this, it's a problem Pearson need to resolve. I opened a case with them on the 10th January, which they got back to me on the 17th & 18th. But they are not understanding the issue. They think it's just us not following the link or fill out the form they sent us right. I've tried to explain it's a certificate issue at their end but I guess I'm hitting a 1st line support wall. Our case number if others what to try link to ours is: 48457815

Fusion 360 doesn't use GPUs very well. Only really when rendering. It's more CPU and Memory that matter.

So you might want to leave Folder Redirection as 'Not Configured' clear your test accounts local profile and try again, should just work. Sorry to re-open a old thread. But I've been working for a client with issues accessing SYSVOL randomly from certain machines for months. I've read about every thread I could on the internet and tried every solution apart from disabling Hardened Paths. I wasn't willing to give up on this security for a quick fix. Anyway, we've found a solution of sorts to our issue. It turned out to be UE-V being enabled on the machines which was causing it. They no longer used UE-V so disabling this wasn't a problem, doing so has fixed the issue with SYSVOL access. All while keeping the UNC Hardened paths on. I just wanted to put this out there as another solution to try. I suspect the cause is a compatibility issue between a Windows Update, NIC driver (Maybe Intel, but more likely Realtek we think) & UE-V, but our testing shows disabling UE-V was the only solution as updating NIC drivers did nothing.

We had Pictures and Videos redirected to Documents, then Know Folder Move should pick them both up. Downloads should be the only thing saved locally. You can redirect it to OneDrive, but then your downloading, to upload, to download on the next PC, so not advised.

We use Tado controls currently, both for boiler control but also smart TVRs as well. We're happy with it, but we don't have enough radiator capacity and adding more would be a pain. So we're opting to go to air to air heat pump. Air Con as most people would call it. However back to your question. I'd have a look at videos by Heat Geek on YouTube. Most are on heat pump setups but he's also done a number on combi boilers and how to best use them. The all on low and slow may well be better than per control room like we have. Especially if you boiler can work on a flow curve.

Hi All, I want to introduce SMB Signing but I'm getting conflicting information about if doing so will affect our Server 2022 Hyper-V Cluster S2D. Can anyone with a Hyper-V Cluster using S2D (Two node if that matters) confirm if they have enabled SMB Signing, and what settings in Group Policy you used? You can add them to the SharePoint site permissions. So they are not Team members but can view files via SharePoint if needed.

You want a fire alarm relay on each door if you want to remove the break glass. You don't want to rely on Paxton Net2 Pro software to release the doors, as it's relient on your server, network etc all working in a fire situation. However, this is costly to put in place, and means adding more doors requires the fire alarm company to fit a relay each time. So a past installation I was involved in use 3/4 pole break glass with built in alarm. When the break glass is used, it alarms locally (Flashing & sound) but one of extra poles breaks an input to the Paxton ACU. In the Net2 software a trigger rule runs emailing facilities & student support. Meaning if a door is released via a break glass without anyone else around, someone is still aware. This was put in place exactly to cover a student doing a runner. All students have ID cards and they allow them to leave at any time, but if they leave during lesson time, another trigger in Net2 rules emailing student support. They can then make a judgment call on if they need to investigate or not. The break glass method above means if they use this to exit, student support still no someone might be leaving without permission. I recently found Windows Activity History was using a lot of bandwidth at login and log off. So we've disabled it as a test, so far no one has reported its affected anything and bandwidth has reduced a lot.

Look at Casambi devices. It uses Bluetooth and doesn't need a Gateway, although can if you want internet control. Avoids more traffic on 2.4ghz range, or 'Smart' devices not likely complex networks. A number of manufacturers rebrand Casambi. Tridonic who make a lot of LED drivers call it 4Remote BT. Tamlite have it in there vision range. You can often tell but looking at the app on the product pages, it's clearly the casambi app with a skin on it.

How does your Smoothwall connect to your ISPs router? Could you install a switch between, or send it via your core switch on a VLAN which your Smoothwall and VM firewall/s can use.

NAS box with a file sync app maybe? Likely to get conflicts but they normally carry on syncing other files and folders. Just a bit of manual conflict resolution required ever now and then.

Hi, What are secondary schools generally using software wise for coding? We currently have Python but our teacher is interested in APp Inventor &/Or Unity. Unity require educational licences and deployment looks a bit of a process. App Inventor we have had setup in the past, but the Emulator was a real pain to get working. I suspect it won't now due to increased security on our system. So I'm interested to hear what others are using? Or have you got around permissions issues by using VMs (Virtual Box per machine for example). Thanks, Rob

If your machines are Azure AD synced, some settings can sync via that. Can't remember what's its called off top of my head but that's what I went to. Local profiles, Azure AD (Entra ID or something now) and remove UE-V.
