i've kind of done this. ON moodle you can have site files. Create this folder and then navigate to it in explorer. I then use a batch script to copy the contents of our public drives into it.

I had exactly the same error with a steady state machine. It can also happen after windows update. Steady state disables the users as a sort of suspend mode to let the update happen. If you go look at your local users you'll see them disabled & re-named. Certain circumstances can cause the process to break, leaving you with no users - apparently. Just go in as admin and re-enable then. None of their profiles are touched. silly question, but how do you get in?, i know i tried safe mode but it didn't work for some strange reason.

hmm, conflicting info on this!. bascially we have 2 suites, 16 machines and 24 machines. We have a 25 user lciense for RRC, is there a way to select which machines are connected soas we can allocate machines?. at present it just adds the first 25 it can find.

i'd tell them that what they are asking for will cost x as a laptop and xy as a desktop. then i'd tell them what i think they need for a laptop to be able to edit. I'd put it all in a nice email to the teachers, person responsible for allocating funds and the head. let them fight it out!.

I was trying to avoid having to enrol for modules but that has its own breed of problems! anything you'd like helpwith? our teacher enrollments were done from an ad exported csv file. then all were set to be global teachers. our students create there own accounts and confirm via school based email. loverly and easy so far!.

no probs, big question is how it got like that!, for me i had the wrong perms set for the front page chat option, so setting all users to students got aroudn that.

i did something similar to what i would imagine you've done. check the global assignment roles, no one should be a student. then check the then look at Administration / â–º Users / â–º Permissions / â–º User policies and make sure that Default role for all users is NOT student. prob should be authenticated user.

enrolements can be as simple as just pushing a button on the first loook at a module.

check that they are actually enrolled in the course. they can be a global student which is enough to look like they are enrolled on the course. best way to do this is find a pupil, manually enroll them on the course and check to see if the assignment pops up in the teachers view.

hello all, i've taken a laptop off the domain and on first boot it gave me the 2 user names and pics i was expecting on the logon. now it asks me to select the user name and there are no pictures!!, anyone come accross this before?

i use bozteck nvc manager to deploy vnc to machines, also allows you to run scripts and other nice stuff. and i use java in an intranet page to give the user all the details they could need for a support call (ip, mac, machine name, username, system variables)

DVI-D is digital only, if you have a DVI-D port it can only output to a DVI device. DVI-I outputs a digital and analogue signals hence you can only get DVI-I to VGA cables. the hint was in the name!, thanks for your help with this guys!
