  1. I don't think you'd have been in the promo
  2. I hope it's not another RDR... even though I already have the game on 360, this type of game just lends itself perfectly to the PC mod crowd.
  3. It's either fake or the response tweet was deleted:
  4. That's awesome How gutted is the guy who asked for socks and underwear though? lol
  5. Yeah there are definitely issues with Office 2010. I have found that following this routine solves any problems 9 times out of 10: - Make any changes you need to - Save the template - Verify the template - Save again and close - Now back in SIMS, save the template and clone it - Open the template from the clone (do not save it!) - Without making any changes, verify and save the cloned template - Finally, save the cloned template in SIMS It's a bit of a pain but usually doing that means my cloned version of the template works fine, then I delete the original and rename the clone.
  6. It's not JD, but this Advent calendar from Master of Malt would make for a great December: http://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskies/drinks-by-the-dram/the-whisky-advent-calendar/ http://cdn3.masterofmalt.com/whiskies/p-1987/drinks-by-the-dram/the-whisky-advent-calendar.jpg
  7. You'll have to download the latest ROM from their site and flash it, the dev is pretty good at making "no wipe" updates though (i.e. you only have to wipe cache and dalvik, all your apps and personal files are retained on update) There was an Xposed app to fix the Touchwiz sleep issue, it simply replaced Touchwiz's lock screen wit the AOSP one, unfortunately it hasn't been updated to work with 4.3 yet. EDIT: forgot to say, disabling the lock screen clock improves things. It doesn't fix them, but it happens less often at least.
  8. Might sound silly, but you have got Bluetooth on haven't you? The slow wake up thing is actually a TouchWiz problem, not Wanamlite. You'll have that problem with stock too. As for random restarts - did you do a clean install? I haven't had a single restart or force close with Wanamlite... 4.3 is known to be buggy at the moment, in fact Samsung pulled the original update as it was causing huge problems. Have you installed Gear Manager app? Struggling to find it at work but someone at xda [here] posted this link to an APK (I HAVEN'T TESTED IT, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!): DepositFiles
  9. I like Plex myself, it's aimed more at setting up a media server but you can use it equally well on the machine it's installed on
  10. Also, just a thought about Wanamlite, did you install the removed apps package? It could be that one of those apps is required to communicate with the Gear...
  11. Personally, I'm just interested to see how the OS works, won't be doing any serious gaming on it for the time being, virtual machine will do for that
  12. Have Three released it yet though? I thought Kies might bypass network update. Other alternative is do what I said earlier and flash an earlier stock ROM then try OTA update and/or Kies. Shocked it didn't work in Wanamlite, the point of the ROM is to retain functionality. Are you 100% certain you're setting your Gear up right?
  13. You could try Kies? To be honest, I'd give WanamLite a go. It's based on the official, stock firmware, just with a load of bloat taken out. I don't have a Galaxy Gear to test it, but as Wanamlite is built from official source code, I'm 99% sure it should work...
  14. Just a slight tweak on that - the requirement for online reporting to parents was dropped by the current government. You still have to provide regular reports but they do not have to be online.
  15. You must practise your Google-fu young Padawan
  16. EDIT: I'm assuming you're using an i9300 S3, if not DO NOT FLASH THESE ROMS!!! Stock: Stock GTI9300 Rom | Samsung Galaxy S III GTi9300 | Romhut Install one of those and run OTA update. I can't see why Wanamlite wouldn't work with Galaxy Gear, it's TouchWiz based and all the other features I lost when I went to CyanogenMOD work fine. Personally, I'd try Wanamlite first but that's just me WanamLite 4.3: WanamLite XXUGMJ9 V7.2 Android JB 4.3 Xposed -
  17. I believe that stock ROMS are available on the Wanamlite site, but I have to say if you are only rolling back for 4.3 then give Wanamlite a go - it's based on Samsung source so you have all the original Samsung features back (NFC, motion controls etc.) with the bloat removed (although there's an update package to add it back in if you want to) and you get to keep root, use a better kernel and Wanam Xposed lets you customise loads of things. I've had WanamLite 4.3 on my S3 for a couple of weeks now and I love it
  18. If you store the original document in a variable and base your regex on that as I did above, you won't have that problem
  19. @Deckard - if you tell us what data it is you're trying to extract and what you want to do with it, we may be able to help. I'm sure it'd be possible to do exactly what you're saying, but there may well be a much easier way
  20. Unfortunately, unless you're populating an aspect (which you can upload from a CSV) the only fileds with bulk update routines are in the "Routines > Student > Bulk Update" screen and House isn't one of them. You can sort by reg in that route I told you about, so at least if it's as simple as reg range to house you haven't got to be too careful about reading every single student name. If it's not that simple, you have my sympathy! Plenty of coffee and a good CD will get you through it
  21. If you go in to "Focus > School > Pastoral Structure > Current Structure", expand the "House" branch then right click on any house and select "Members" you'll get a list of every student in the school and columns for each house, you then simply put a tick in the right column for each student.
  22. No mention of patching "that" security vulnerability though, seems a strange move... If I've understood it correctly, it is quite obviously a major bug; if a genuine dev mistyped their ID, they could brick their machine.
  23. Did you try the script I posted in that thread? If you just change the file tpye on the SaveAs line to TSV, that should do it. It's an extra step you could do without I know, but it's worked well for me when I've had problems with the format of CLR's output
  24. Get yourself to Wilkos, they have loads of gear to get you started and the prices are pretty good too [i haven't actually gotten round to brewing my own yet, but that's where I'll eventually buy my gear from when I finally have the cash!]
