I'm trying to find where to get GAPS score for last year 2013. I have a database from the excellant Ben Fuller that gives me the fine point score. I download the KS2 for last year, and it doesn't have GAPS on it... I am missing something? Thanks

I'm trying to create a simple barcode so that pupils can use a wand/scanner for attedance, does anyone know how to get the data into SIMS - without having to retype it all? Thanks

Yes it's me again, still trying to get the marksheets as I need them!!! I've create indivdual class marksheets, and now subject marksheets, that get populated from class marksheets; but can get any further with having all the data on one sheet (and still have the class codes on). Exporting from SIMS 800 marksheets to create one large excel. It has to be exported in 'formatted' to get the UPN number on. Trying to create a template with all the data on - from the other 800... Thanks N

I'm trying to export lots of xml files (Marksheets) into one large file, it needs to be in fomatted version (to have the upn). Whats the best way/software to do this? It says they are in excel format but then excel doesn't pick them up as so. I may need to convert to text first then open/save in excel....but again what software to convert 800 xml files to text..... Thanks for any help, N

I set the aspects eg lcp, wag and atl. Then created the templates, eg English Y7-9 and in the class link added Eng KTSG3. From there I've got the column Reg group, House and class, followed by the 3 column for lcp, wag and atl. Then where you add members I've found all the English Year 7-9 and added them. Haven't used group, and needed to add class so we can see them in output. Done the same for each subject, but changing the class link and members for each new subject eg Geo Y7-9 have members for Geo1/Y7, Geo2/Y7 etc and Geo1/Y8 etc.... Thanks.

I've created templates for each class eg Eng Y10+Y11, Geo Y10+Y11 etc, and added the classes eg Eng 10/Eng1, Eng 10/Eng2 etc and used the class link to link each one with each class eg Geo (GCSEF) etc, but when I put a result in one it copies the result to any other sheet with that student.....(so that the class code shows on marksheet). Any ideas need ASAP, Thanks for any help
