  1. 182 here :-)
  2. Just spotted this on the GMetrix site. Might be worth keeping in mind if anyone has installed the Office 2013 trial: "Notice About OFFICE 2013 Microsoft has released a preview version of Office 2013. Once installed, this preview does not uninstall correctly, and will cause GMetrix SMS to stop functioning with Office 2007 and 2010. We are currently unable to support any system where the Office 2013 Preview has been installed. We apologize for the inconvenience and suggest avoiding the Office 2013 preview on computers that also need to run GMetrix SMS."
  3. We're having these problems too! So annoying! Can't see any reason for it
  4. When the imaged machines were rejoined to the network were they put in the correct OU in AD?
  5. Does anybody know of a way to install both Windows Live Movie Maker 2011 and Movie Maker 2012 side-by-side? We are having students bring in project work from home using Windows 8 which has Movie Maker 2012 installed as default but they cannot open their files on the older version.
  6. We have a cyan, magenta, black, and 2 yellow toners that are taking up space on a shelf and we just want to get rid of them. If there is anyone in the Hagley/Worcester area that is able to pick them up you are welcome to have them. PM if you would like more details.
  7. We are having the same issue here. Our printserver restarted after a WSUS update and then we started getting the slowness. We have installed Papercut since we have had problems but I think it was definitely the update that has caused issues - not papercut
  8. It's using a module of Nova to print which is not compatible with 64bit windows. You need to go to Reports > Timetables and print that way sadly
  9. I will try the fix suggested and see if it makes a difference over the next few days. Thanks for the link
  10. We are having similar issues with our Server 2008 print server. We first noticed we were having issues after we ran some Windows Updates. Since then the CPU spikes and prints can take 5 minutes to come out
  11. Thanks for the help all. We simply need the license code for Mimio Studio which works with this kit but only the trial version. We must previously have had a license but sadly has not been recorded anywhere. Just thought if I could find out the model it might help me find who to ask about it or where the school got the license from.
  12. Has anybody come across or is able to identify this brand of interactive whiteboard. We are unable to find who sold this product to us and have been passed from company to company who seem to think someone else manufactured it. The pens say ‘Mimio’ on them but having sent Mimio pictures of the product they have said they did not make the product and have forwarded us to a company called Numonics who have also said they have nothing to do with this product.
  13. Thanks very much that would be great
  14. Bit of a random one this. Does anybody have a copy of this program? Our D&T department swear that we should have a copy of this software but it is nowhere to be seen and I have been unable to find any working installation files on t’internet.
  15. Don't suppose anybody would be able to pass these drivers on to me? Our machine seems to have lost them all of a sudden
  16. They've just this second been talking about it on the chris moyles show
  17. I was thinking scenic places but wouldn't mind museum suggestions. I live in Wolverhampton so there is a train station near by. I also drive so I could get to those hard to reach places. @Andrew_C: I like historical places. I've driven to Stonehenge before (according to the sat nav) but it was at night and I couldn't see it lol @cookie_monster: I'd love to do the highlands I haven't been up there since i was about 10.
  18. It's the 3rd day of my summer hols and I'm bored already! Can anyone suggest places in the UK I should visit? I'm already planning on going to Snowdon and Stonehenge. I'll be going to London later in the holidays too so is there anything I should see while I'm there?
  19. Have you felt faint, Russdev? I come down with something that sounds similar. I was in bed for a couple of days, never sick, but just had no energy. I got up one night to go make a hot bovril and on the way back to my bedroom fainted and collapsed on the clothes horse and broke it! They're not cheap!
  20. Oohhhh no not the silver birches! We're in trouble now! Uh oh I've said too much... CODE RED ABORT ABORT ABORT!!
  21. The bulk provisioning is the problem we are having at the moment. We have to add the new users the way we normally would and then send Link2ICT the list along with a tag we want them to have so that they can been added to distribution lists. It's not a problem as they don't seem to mind doing this for us, I just feel guilty asking.
  22. Is there anybody in here that has been set up as a Global Administrator? All of us techies at our school have been setup as Domain Admins and I just wondered if that was right or not. There are certain things that we just cannot do with that level of privilliages and we have to keep phoning BGFL
  23. ooooo and flash now!
