It has been superb. Installing an 86" board is now an easy 2 person job, rather than a struggle with 3. The lift itself is pretty heavy but manageable on a trolley.

We got 3 licences for adobe acrobat in the end. Admin team are working through it now, loads of really good feedback from them - it is a huge leap forward from the one we manually did 4 years ago! Especially love the ability to have a marked up, but not actually redacted copy that we can keep, will make it a lot easier if we get any queries come back.

If this ban isn't for security reasons then I cannot see any reason to ban their use? If there are ethical or other issues with their manufacture / supply then I can understand banning their sale, but what advantage is there to stopping everyone using ones they already have?

We're still installing smart branded ones they seem pretty good value now if you go for the GX series, have proved to be very reliable.

They are the smart branded interactive LCD screens - looking at the 86" model for this year which are 77kg each. Think the e70's we're removing from some rooms are a similar weight.

I had a look at some of those, but they don't really have a way to secure an expensive screen to them, and pushing the weight limit of a lot of them.

Think that may also add a considerable ammount of time to the install, and can't imagine getting the screen in position and into the hoist thing is the easiest! Hate to think what they cost. I do get help from the site team, would just like something that does the majority of the lifting for us. at 80kg I normally try and have 3 people to do the lift, if i can get this down to 2 doing it comfortably with an mechanical aid that would be ideal.

Does anyone have / know of a lifting device that can be used for removing / installing smartboards onto walls? We do quite a lot of our own installs with some of them weighing over 80kg I'd ideally like something to assist with getting them up on the wall - scissor lift or something similar.

I'd recommend you do it through the Crown commercial services framework, no chance of finding hidden clauses or getting ripped off later down the line then, and when we tendered was considerable cheaper than those not on the framework.

Looks like there is education pricing, but it's still pretty expensive at very low numbers of users, around £170 per user for what we want.

We have a fairly large SAR to complete. Previously we have manually redcacted and scanned but this time we want to do it electronically. It looks like adobe acrobat will do what we want, 2 questions: 1. Is there education pricing for this, if we are just buying 3 licences? We don't have any other adobe products at the moment. 2. If you redact a document, is there an option to save it with the redaction marked, but not actually redacted, and then save a redacted copy? From previous experience this would be really useful - if we get a query about what we have redacted, to be able to see it marked up but still be able to read it all.

How much do you pay per kwh of oil, and how efficient is the boiler? Immersion is near 100% efficient (ignoring heat loss from tank which is the same for both) but price of electric is likely higher than oil. I pay about 5 times more per unit for electric than gas at the moment. Even if electric is twice as efficient, it makes sense for me to use gas cost wise.

Is 75" big enough now that 84 are pretty cheap? This is the first year we are moving to the larger screens having had 70's for the last 7 years. Are ops pc's popular with staff? Most want the ability to sit at a desk with their monitor in front of them. Not really demonstrating the latest tech, but just putting in what has been proven to work and be popular!

Does Bromcom allow parents to update their own info? We use Arbor and pull in basic info provided by the LA to a pre-admission group which gives the parents access to the parent app, they then enter their own info in here which comes through for the admin team to authorise.

Paint the wall with watered down PVA glue first, put plenty of it on. When it goes tacky then apply undercoat plaster. Should be ok that thickness. If you used top coat / finishing plaster then it will definitely crack - at most you can do about 2mm with that. Failing that you can always make up a sand and cement render and put that on, def won't go anywhere then.

Does Inventry support this with their sign in app? Never used them, but they are listed as a partner on the Arbor site which should mean they directly integrate, rather than via Wonde or another third party.

Do you need to have the app remote hosted? Can you not have the server remote and just install the Paxton client on the machine with the reader?

We use CPOMS, as do most of the local schools. Popular with staff, integrates with Senso and a few other things. When we moved MIS we migrated every other add-on product except CPOMS and have no plans to move away from it. No issues with login - you can login without 2fa if you just want to log an issue, only needing 2fa for full access, so the lack of single sign on hasn't really been an issue for us.

I have 1 teachers email account on 365 that does a really strange thing. On outlook through a browser, when replying to an email if they click send it saves it as a draft and doesn't send it. A new email will send fine Same account from outlook deskop app behaves as expected. Emails send fine from ipad. It's only when replying and only when using outlook through a web browser, on any pc.

Ours is around 400w with nothing actively in use. That's our house and my parents annex which is powered from same meter. Always running we have: 2 Large fridges 3 under counter freezers 3 sky boxes in standby router POE switch with 3 AP's powered from it and 1 cctv camera 1 pc acting as a server for CCTV and wireless 6 Alexa's I've assumed modern TV's and power supplies etc use pretty much nothing when not in use. At some point I want to get a plug in monitor and see if any of the above are significantly higher than others. I'm assuming fridges / freezers and the pc are the highest.

There isn't a mac address filter on the dhcp server for that vlan is there?
