Hi, I wouldn't worry about .cer or .crt The issue is you are unable to import the cert using the RD manager - because you don't have the private key in the bundle. A pfx contains the cert, chain and key together in a bundle. The key will be on the server you made the CSR on. Another way of doing it might be to look in the cert store you imported the new cert into, it should say whether or not you have the private key - look for this - [Windows] Certificate With A Private Key Photo by jpaugh64 | Photobucket - if you can find this and it confirms you have the private key you can export it directly into a pfx.

Could be their end, might be worth posting a screenshot of the record you added, or making another smaller change (like adding a test A record) to force another zone update.

Then open your command prompt and run: nslookup server (one of the nameservers on the output) yourdnsrecord.yourdomain.com See what the answer is (this forces your request to that specific server instead of your ISP/whoever). If you query the name servers directly on your domain whois can you see the changes there? That will help work out where the problem may be.

NLA enabled for RDP?

Assuming you're using IE did you click the "private" box at the logon screen? When you log in do you get a notification in the bottom right hand corner about being connected to resources? Just to make it all about RDweb, if you log on with a different browser (non ActiveX) and download the RDP file - then run that natively does it work as you'd expect?

Is this with an RDP file you've downloaded via RDWeb or is it just a plain RDP configuration?

xfreerdp supports rd gateway.

If it's using something like RD Gateway or Citrix you can install a client on Linux and populate the settings.

What error do you see?

I'd be more thinking there's a problem with the boot record or such, I can't imagine it's suddenly forgotten how to use a RAID controller. What actual error do you get?

Can't be reached, or can't be resolved? If you put the IP in does it work? Sounds like either firewall (or NAT) or DNS to me.

Hi Mike, If it's a single server then most basic UPS functionality will run over a USB/serial cable no problem. As they get bigger / higher end for multiple servers and other equipment you tend to use a network management system with it connected into the network (ensuring the network is also connected!).. I'd imagine in your case a pretty entry level end APC unit would be ideal - it includes the powerchute management software that you install on your server and set it up. Do you know how big your power supplies are in the ML330, even better if you have the iLo configured it can tell you the power draw so you can calculate the run time from each size of UPS to decide what fits.

You should be able to map it like you would on a normal computer using a GPP or script at logon.

I wouldn't worry too much about that to be honest, they still support RDP after all this time There's a lot of deployed pcoip end points VMware wouldn't be viewed favourably just cutting that off. Blast extreme is definitely the future especially with Nvidia Grid 2. Going to be interesting. We're doing more with Grid and RemoteFX (it's nowhere near as good as with pcoip yet but 2016 TP5 helps too) in testing, fun times ahead.
