I personally like having a second 'cheaper' device for music (old ipod), something I can chuck in the car or leave in my workshop dock. I could not do that with my phone.

I tried to move to a sansa fuse+ after I thought my ipod 5th was on it's way out. it was unusable without rockbox and not particularly brilliant with it. Then it stopped working. I've gone back to my ipod (it's still just about ok) and will probably get another when it really is dead, despite how crap iTunes is.

I thought you guys might appreciate this I've spent the last few weeks worth of evenings gradually putting it together It's a standalone media player based around a Raspberry Pi and a 1Tb hard drive. The chassis is from an old 16 port network hub and i laser cut/etched the replacement front and back panels. It's got (or will have) 4 usb ports, ethernet/LAN, HDMI, scart, composite video, analog audio, power switch and standard computer/kettle lead power input. as per his response above, he cares about misconceptions being repeated, not the existence (or not) of a deity

so we either care enough to respond and we have 'belief' or we don't respond with logic and our point of view isn't heard. great alternatives.....

just because DNA has discrete positions does not mean it has not evolved. Besides, there is no one 'gene' for a nose, so the addition, removal or change in a single gene would not cause a second nose to appear or disappear
