  1. 4gon do a twin pack 10G modules for Unifi switches for £38 - https://www.4gon.co.uk/ubiquiti-ufiber-ufmm10g-p-6933.html Used them for the 10G links in our Unifi Edge Lite switches and not had any issues.
  2. If they are pre-terminated fibres, they sometimes have a url and test code label on each end near the tails so you can see details such as cable length and date cable was made/tested.
  3. @Millgate - are you able to help source a replacement keybaord? Cheers

  11. I have approx 50 NanoHD and don't have any issues with disconnections powered by a mixture of POE Injectors and POE Switches. I manage they all via a VM running the Unifi Controller - I did have an issue with the Controller after an update once where it said APs were offline but they were all working fine as I would ping them and also SSH into them plus I was able to connect to the Wifi without issues. - Needed to give the controller a reboot and then all was fine. When they drop connection - can you still ping/shh them?
  12. I have a HP Compaq Elite 8300 AIO which requires a replacement screen - Part No: 698623-001. My google skills are coming up with US sites - anyone know where I can source parts in the UK? Cheers
  13. Just starting to look at this now as we are currently on a 100MB connection on 100MB bearer for approx 1400 users, 500 desktops and BYOD Wifi (with approx 300 connections at the time of looking at the Unifi Dashboard) I've approached our currently provider for cost options for 300MB, 500MB and 1GB or a 1GB Bearer all with failover options. I am opting not to look at 2 different connections from different suppliers as a failover option as we host our own VOIP and Web Servers - so changing IP/DNS settings could cause issues (unless I'm overthinking things....)
  14. Anyone having issues trying to Import WIM and .Net Binaries? I'm getting errors about Get-WindowImage and the system cannot find the path specified - $iso\sources\install.wim Cheers

  20. Trying to create a new SSL cert for our onsite exchange box I am getting Authorisation Time Out errors and I'm not sure why DNS is working as I can reach the Exchange box both internally and externally NSLookup is resolving domain name to ip correctly. I created a new cert or out HAP+ box and they working perfectly fine. Anyone any clues or able to point me in the right place to look for error messages etc. Cheers
  21. We use switch user for staff and the main issue is staff leaving document open and forgetting where they last opened the document  Rebooting the PC can annoy staff as they jump up and down saying they didnt save the document etc...... Other than that, no real issues.

  23. I have a member of staff who has a Chromebook and wants to use MS Remote Desktop. Having never used a Chromebook, I have installed the Remote Desktop App and setup the connection to our RDP server. Connection work fine from outside school, but when she is in school, the connection keeps dropping. I have added another connection so it doesnt use a gateway when in school but connection still keeps dropping. Wireless is fine as she can still connection to things like emails/website etc Server is fine as I can connect from other devices without issue. So.....anyone know of any issues with Chromebooks and RDP Client? or suggestion something else I can try. CHeers Mark
