Yep having checked, when I removed the old users - I forgot they stayed in the Office 365 recycle bin for 30 days which is what has caused the problem. Some of the group names have stayed the same which has never caused an issue before. Not Salamanders fault in any way shape or form - think it a combo of me and Offjce 365 getting things out of sync. May need to check the other areas of Office 365 for recycle bin areas such as users. Least I now know it of my own making!!

Office 365 Health showing as Ok But when I look at Azure AD I have sync errors. Similar issues relating to students who were made leavers in Year 11 and then readmitted in Year12 If I open ADD Sync Service and open one of the error, click on the preview followed by Generate Preview and the Commit preview - that option show all ok - by ADD Sync and Azure still show as errors. Is there a way I can get Azure to accept all settings from my Local AD even if it things the ProxyAddress is duplicated? Chers

For some unknown reason we suddenly had hundreds of aD/Azure sync errors. We do use salamander to create users and groups - so I don’t know if when I deleted old user and new users being created by salamander has something to do with it. Not fully looked at what the errors are as only just seen the email from Microsoft Any info welcome Cheers

Approx half the cards are already in use - other half will be new cards. With it being first day back for staff and having some personal health issues I’ve not had chance to look at the back end to check for user PIN (hoping all set to default 0000) which may make life slightly easier. Waiting on a card reader to arrive tomorrow to see if that emulates keyboard with full number and not the 8 digit code as used by papercut.

Need register 300+ cards (combination of existing users and new users who are imported from SIMS.net) - anyone who uses Entry Sign able to offer the best and easiest way of doing this - without the need for users to self enroll? Cheers

Nope, nowhere near ready - still half the school to image from 1803 to 1909. (may get left until October) Having to bodge a connection between core and a new cabinet after site manage managed to mangle one end of the fibres! Staff asking for the earth - extra computers! And to make matters worse, i suffer from epilepsy and started have focal aware seizures again - nothing major - just very annoying auras every 30 mins or so lasting anything from 30 seconds to 5 mins - doc are classing this as a cluster thingy.... and upped by dosage. First week back have to take all year 12 photos, add the to Papercut, Paxton (easy enough to so) and Entry-Sign - which I have to do manually!!!!!! and I also have to add all staff and Year 13 to Entry Sign as well Oh the joys

No dice - installed drivers, opened notepad, stuck card and read and nothing. If I could understand how Entry sign generate their ID Tokens i could manage a I found on here an excel formula on to convert from Entry-Sign to Papercut/Paxton but not the other way around.

I have a Paxton MiFare card reader and a ACR1281U-C8 I want to try and grab the MiFare card numbers so I can import them in to Papercut, Paxton and Entry-Sign. Paxton is faily painless and tap the card on the reader when creating the card. Papercut and EntrySign are slightly more long painly - especially Entry-Sign!! Anyone know of any windows based software that will work with either the Paxton Desktop Card Reader and/or the ACR1281U-C8 reader Cheers

No options to export as PST. Which is odd as all the screen shots and info show that as an option. Will try with a fresh install of windows 10 and plain original edge - just in case new edge/chrome have issues. Cheers Mark

I’ve heard back from Osbource and they said unfortunately I would need to register the card manually :-/

This September, SLT have decided to get Year 12 and Year 13 to register via their ID cards on Entry-Sign. We have the Entry-Sign MiFare terminals installed on external entrances. I can register each card 1 at a time on the main Entry-Sign screen but will take time as will need to search for student and then register the card. Does anyone know of a quicker way of registering cards. Cheers Mark

Are you APs on their own VLAN? If so, you can add an IP range - that’s what I did for my UniFi setup using NPS and smoothwalll.

We have a Subject Access Request for any emails or documents relating to the person who has made the request. They have asked for any emails or documents which use their name in any of the following formats within a specific 6 month date range. FirstName LastName - eg. Joe Bloggs Initial and Lastname - eg. J Bloggs and their Initials - eg JB I have run an Office 365 DSR and all it seems to give me is the option to export Reports Only, which when downloaded, contain excel files with lots of information including who sent/received emails and the subject of the email. - no details about the email body. Are these excel reports enough or do I need the actual emails? - If so, how so I get Office 365 DSR to allow me to download them? Cheers.

I've come to add the classifications to SCCM (CB) to allow in place upgrades to 2004 etc and when I ticked Upgrades I got this message I'm slightly confused as server is a fresh install of Server 2019 I take it I can safely ignore this? Cheers

I've created a package to install Cubase Element 9 using the Setup.exe Admin command to create a network installation. Amended the Batch file so the MSI installers create a logfile incase they are needed for troubleshooting. Added to SCCM and deployed the package using the batch file which installs Cubase and all addons. SCCM Installs software fine and exits. (and log files confirm software installed for both SCCM and MSI generated log files) The puzzling part is that the installed items do not appear in Control Panel or the start menu - apart from the e-licenser which does - If I navigate to Cubase within program files I can find the program and I can run it - which must mean it has installed! If I run the script manually, everything appears in control panel and the start menu Anyone seen behavior like this before? Cheers

I thought I deployed the Task Sequence I was using for testing - amazingly, when I did actually deploy it, PXE suddenly started working The SSL reference was simply to say connection was not SSL.

Reinstalling SCCM CB (2002) Updates all sorted and now looking at OSD. PXE isnt happening as the SMSPXE.Log show PXE requests being rejected as not SSL?? I have the DP set to HTTP - my googlefu has failed me...... Anyone know how or why PXE is expecting SSL? and how do I stop it looking for SSL? Cheers

In the process of reinstalling SCCM as part of OS update and partly because it needed updating and tidying etc... ADR rules for updates - combine them and have 1 ADR for both Windows & Office updates or have separate ADR rules for Windows and Office updates? Cheers

Decided to reinstall from scratch - yes, it probably not necessary but will give me a chance to actually produce documentation for it this time around as I didn't document it last time! Will use separate discs for DB, Content, etc Have exported some collections, policies and applications/packages that I want to keep/re-import. I've run out of things to do as the helpdesk is clear and I'm sat doing nothing - so at least it will keep me busy for a couple of days.
