    Are you uni casting or multi casting (do the swithes support what you are trying to do - some of the older 2900 and 2950's didnt support multi casting.

    Technically you cant pat test a laptop - just the supply but depends on what your RA says - i normally say 6 months for laptop supplies due to the drequency of movement and likely hood of damage etc.

    Have you reversed the setting in the GPO or just changed it to not set - just changing a setting can still be applied if just changed to not set rather than the opposite of what is was. Alternatively use RSOP to identify where its getting it from.

    SBX885 Board i suspect - new multitouch boards as mentioned - will have a red light if powered but no USB.

    Because smart 11 is only licensesd for use on a "Smart" board - if you try and use it with another brand of board its against the license agreement.

    There machine - there technician - there error Call them and ask them to send the relevant person with the relevant parts to resolve all the issues or send a new printer!
