How about something like an LED interactive screen (Sahara Clevertouch) and Display Note software. this way what ever device you want to collaborate with (Staff & Student) can connect and share their desktop. Teacher can walk around the room while presenting to the students. seems to cover all devices (Android, IOS, Windows) just not blackberry yet. keeps options open on supplying devices or BYOD.

Have tried a hard reset and now it powers up then sits there with just the WAN led lit. ZoneDirector now can't see it and we can't ping it either. 24. Hi Guys n Girls Need a bit of AV advice, in the main hall of our school we have a ceiling mounted projector an electric screen for presentation etc...... We occasionally have guest in that demo things. The issue that they seem to have is the students at the back of the hall cannot see what’s going on. I have been asked to look in to a way of using a permanent fixed video camera (ideally remote pan / tilt) linked into the projector to project the action on to the main screen thus allowing the students at the rear of the hall to see everything. The 2nd part of this is eventually stream live action from the hall to any IWB in a classroom across the school. So I think what I'm asking is does anyone have a idea of what camera could be suitable for a job like this and is a streaming server the best option to get it school wide. Any advice would be gratefully received

Hi Quick Poll: I'm Network Manager for a secondary school. approx 1050 students, 460 ish PC's running Server 2003 (in a VMWare ESX enviroment) and Windows XP (Mix of thin client / VM and thick clients). Staffing is an issue at the moment with us, or lack of it Would be interested in knowing what the staffing is like in other secondary schools of the same sort of size (Network Manager, Technicians etc....) Cheers!
