I couldn't agree more! A fabulous series, beautifully shot, but I fear the Americans will just mess it up

You should move down to Southport - it hardly ever rains there! At least that's what my Mum tells me

I'd try transcoding an example file to something the TV can play natively and see what happens

Most depressing to realise that he was younger than I am now when he was starring in Frasier - he always seemed really old -
Home emergency cover recommendation (UK/Essex)
SpuffMonkey replied to UltimateRed's topic in General Chat
Personally - I think just putting an amount away every month into an instant access savings account is the best wat - then use it if you need or let it mount up - most financial advice sites agree that emergency insurance is a bit of a rip off -
Does it still need to see the "S:" drive??

High-speed broadband to be legal right for UK homes and businesses
SpuffMonkey replied to Arthur's topic in IT News
As you say - its becoming an essential service to access many parts of our society, and as such I think it ought to be available to everyone - yes ythe last half a percent of properties will be very expensive to connect, but that's the cost of have a universal service obligation that they are supposed to cross subsidise fromthe whack of money they make doing all the easy stuff -

And while it is your right to demand it, they only have to provide it if the cost is 'reasonable' else you may have to cough up quite a bit of dosh... -

Android Music Player Recommend Me - but with specifics...
SpuffMonkey posted a topic in General Chat
OK - I acquired a small android tablet and fancy sticking a big SD in and using it as a music player in my car...so... I'm looking for a music player that can be configured to have big easy to use buttons and has the following functionality- I keep my music files all neat and tidy in the following format \\ \ \ and so on Edit (btw - these show as properly indented in the editing box) I want the player to be able to be set to play random tracks from whatever I load on, and if I hear a track I like, to press a button that will automatically play the album the track is on and then drop back to random play. This mimics an old mp3 player I had in car, that worked really well for me. I've tried quite a few players so far,but not found the functionality - just thought someone her might know - cheers -
Hi Col - top notch! Can I just check that it comes c/w the connecting ribbon cable? If so, what's the easiest way to order (this is a personal purchase not corporate!) Cheers

Hi - did you have any success in finding Clevo spares? I'm after a replacement keyboard for a Clevo W650SJ - I appear to be able to buy on eBay from Hong Kong - but would rather deal in the UK if anyone knows of a supplier???
