Hi Everyone, We have been running Devizes School Booking System for a while now and have recently moved over to a new server. I have come to reinstall this and can't find the download files anywhere and it appears the original site is down. Does anyone have a copy of this I can have? Thanks in advance, Jon

Do you mean when originally installing Discover the SQL Authentication password was incorrect? Because when I installed I used the Trusted Authentication option. Or is there somewhere else when I provide the SA password? Sorry if this makes no sense, I'm new to this.

Hi Guys After recently updating to SIMS 7.155 I have updated SIMS Discover to 7.154. However now my data transfers are hanging for a few hours before eventually failing. The log file says the following: There was an error transferring the data between the SIMS and Discover databases! & Unable to transfer data between SIMS and Discover after 5 attempt(s) - waiting for next request! Anybody else experienced/experiencing this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am currently installing all our junior school software onto a laptop which has been upgraded to Windows 7 to test that it is all working. One thing I have come accross that is have issues is a few titles from the 2Simple collection. On their website they state that all their software is Windows 7 compliant (http://goo.gl/j3kVX) but wehen installing 2Animate I am coming up against issues. It will install right to the end and the hang at "Registering Files". Eventually I have to go into task manager and kill the process which leaves me with a piece of software that doesn't work and also refuse's to uninstall!! I have tried to install the DLL pack for this piece that 2Simple provide and it is failing on edcrypt30.ocx and prevdlg10.ocx. Has anyone else run into this problem or know a way around it? Our head of Drama has decided that she wants to be able to project onto a screen in our hall during plays. We will need a short through projector as the ceiling in the hall is far too high but there is a section about 2 metres from the screen that it can be hung on. However, she also wants it to be bright enough so that you can see what is on the screen even when the production lights are on the stage, Has anyone any sugestions?

I completely agree with this. The previous census stated that 70% of the country were Christian. If people can complain that putting Jedi, Edugeek, Google or whatever is sending the results askew surely they need to take the Christianity figure with a pinch of salt also as many people will put this blindly without thinking about it. I'm sure my parents will be putting Christianity (unless I can convince them of "The Force") although they do not own a Bible and won't be able to recall the last time they were in church.

I could also suggest the Church of Apple. I think we would have a lot of hardcore followers but also quite a large opposition.

So it seems that from the last Census "Jedi" is the fourth largest religion in the UK. Will you be joining the masses this time round and putting your faith in The Force?? (For those who don't know; Jediism)

In your printer properties on the Advanced tab is there a radio button selected that states "Start printing after last page is spooled"? If so, change this setting to "Start printing immediately" Let me know if this helps

Has anyone used this app withing school: http://iresponseapp.com/ It seems like a really good way of setting up polls and surveys however, I am trying to add an eception to our .pac file to allow it to go Direct rather than through the proxy. Anyone else come accross this issue?

Its got to be the atom. Thats something you would never forget! Mainly because of the sever facial disfigurement you wouold have to endure to drive it!!

I have been using iTalk for about a year now and it seemed to work straight out of the box. I haven't had an issue remote logging on an entire room however I have experienced issues when trying to use the support feature. THis is a great piece of software but it does have a few glitches still. However, at that price tag I think I can deal with them!

Hi I'm curently working as an ICT Techncian in a school and have recently passed my MCDST. I was wondering if anyone could advise me on what would be the best qualification to pursue next. I was thinking about the MCSE but I'm not sure if there are any other paths that could be lucrative. I do want to work my way up to being an ICT Manager but I was also thinking I may like some qualifications in programming. And maybe even some (Dare I say it) Mac/iOS qualifications. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thats what I thought the answer may be. We are using Pretty decent mics but I can't remember the make/model right now. They don't need phantom Power. I think I'll just have to replace the cabling under the stage for XLR to 6.3mm jack cables and get one of them small boxs. Unless anyone else has any ideas...
