servers are a bit naff at the moment but they will get better

yes sony handycams work very well with premier...plus side is they work on mac and pc so you get the best of both worlds. plug and play using cs5 so you might want to check elements

how did you get on with the splitter problem vlc running now?

you might find that logins are a little slower now i used fsrm to stop desktop.ini and it added 25 seconds to login times using vbs script to remove desktop.ini on logoff and on the server added the extra field in the view section

have you tried removing the share and adding it again on the server worth a go

found a quick and dirty way to sort my problem microsoft have a fix it to make sure office documents open in the program rather than Internet explorer pages. It works for xp and windows 7 deployed via gpo. Thanks for all your help

Can I change filetype settings via group policy to do the following change the setting browse in same window option I really dont want to visit every machine to fix the problem i am having with our vle not opening files like they should

Yes impero wont take no for an answer, I got a trial and it was not what we were looking for after testing, told the sales guy this but we still get calls pestering for business i too have decided not to go for impero at a later date due to the pestering. As for VeryPC I have a few friends who rate them very highly build quality and service so would be nice to see what they can offer for future purchases. Yes we all do it telling the receptionist that you are too busy to talk just to fob them off,(Yes you Ink Jets and Toners) but I do have a few suppliers who ring and it is nice to do business with no pressure.

yes dont fix them they will soon get the message when they only have pen and paper left also i have told all our staff that any damage on machine they have allocated will be charged to them slt approved this and it seems to be working

Having issues since upgrading to v10 on dell gx280 intel video cards on board Screen scrape works but if you do not use it we get a number of machines crashing when the teacher uses the show option Clients screen goes grey with 2 sliders bottom and left have to turn off the machine to clear Support say use screen scrape but the option can not be set to default. Very poor Going to get LAN school and ditch net support

had the exact same problem with our splitters, got image working on test bench worked perfect took to classroom no dvds play. i rolled out vlc player to all win 7 machines and the dvd problem has gone away. thats all you can do apart from replace the splitters.
