  1. Only way to get rid of them that i can see is remove sharepoint and office online this only leaves sway from the users licence
  2. Aim gonna have a go at this during the weekend if you come up with a usable solution please post.
  3. Im at the same stage as you with exactly the same problem
  4. Does anyone know Is it possable to enforce users to add comments when adding behaviour point to students in sims? We have teachers putting negative behaviour point on but no info in the comments. This is a training issue but looking for a technical fix. Thanks in advance.
  5. Thankyou to everyone that has helped. my new domain name has sorted out the issue mail is now flowing. Just about to add the students. need a usage policy now anyone got one I can modify.
  6. Lets just face it we are not good enough. Nothing wrong with that.
  7. I feel the same. Especially when i have just moved our old exchange 2003 to 2010 & feel like we have moved forward but i read on edugeek people looking at 2016 versions of stuff its kind of depressing. But i have a functional system staff are happy with so thats good enough for me
  8. Still have separate on site for now hybrid will have to wait just waiting for isp to change some mx records.
  9. I have bit the bulliit and gone with o365 for students email i was wondering about other peoples experiences of the impact on education behaviour etc. If anyone would like to share student do's and dont's that would be really good. Typing up my usage policy at the moment and want to cover every angle, safeguarding etc
  10. Thanks for your reply. I currently own a.org domain for the school so i am planning on using that for the students. I need to back track on the domain setups done by the lea. Going to revisit this tomorrow needed to clear my head. Might take you up on your offer of help.
  11. Anyone?
  12. I will be buying a new domain so I can keep on site and office 365 separate. the hybrid setup was a bit of a pipe dream and needs to be planned way better. thanyou to all that have helped. Fantastic community here at edugeek. I could not do my job without you.
  13. Im thinking the easiest thing would be start again mx records are fine. On site points to lea servers and o365 points to o365 servers. The issue for me is having my onsite exchange listed in the domains section of o365 admin console
  14. Its not my internal domain name its what the lea issued for email. Not sure if thats a good thing or not. Hope i can get this issue sorted better planning needed on my part but was dropped in it due to a redundancy in the organisation. Top and bottom is i need my on site exchange to be able to email our students and vice versa either if i have to use the onmicrosoft address for them and ditch using the lea email address. It may be i have not explained the issue correctly please ask if you need anything clarifying. Thanks for the reply so late.
  15. I have my o365 setup as follows Onsite exchange @school.sch.uk mx record points to lea mail server O365 students setup as @stu.school.sch.uk mx points to o365 server. @school.sch.uk is setup in the domain section of o365 @stu.school.sch.uk is also setup in the domain section of o365 I have not setup the onsite exchange as a hybrid due to not having the correct training yet. And believe that adding the @school.sch.uk domain to 0365 is my issue. My issue is that my student account can not email @school.sch.uk domain as it thinks that @school.sch.uk domain is now in the cloud. (Yes expected) And my on site exchange can not email the @stu.school.sch.uk addresss. Mail to all other domains are working fine. All i need right now is my students and staff to be able to email each other. So both systems to be separate for now is this possible with what i current have setup. 90% done just missing connectors on the exchange but have to get this running in the next week hence putting hybrid on hold. If i remove the @school.sch.uk domain from the o365 domains section will it effect the stu.school.sch.uk domain as i see them as separate domains. This would stop o365 thinking that my onsite exchange is not on the cloud anymore allowing mail to flow. Thats my thinking anyway. my admin account is connected to the @school.sch.uk domain if i remove the domain will i still be able to administer o365 or would it be wise to create a backup in the stu.school.sch.uk domain. I will get the hybrid sorted later. If you have any experience of removing domains from 0365 your thoughs on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
  16. Can anyone give me a quote for a hard drive replacement please Samsung HD502hj HDD p/N HD502hj/A1 500gb It will need to have the temp sensor sockets at the back.
  17. Check the dns settings also if they use dhcp try reserving the ip address in dhcp. This fixed our issues.
  18. Sims has this function
  19. I would like to have a look at this too.
  20. I has this and what i do is have script run on startup that removes printers then reinstallls them. I did it this way so i tell staff to reboot and the printers are fixed. Tosh mfds it happens on whatever driver i use. When you goto the print properties of a machine that does not print do you get a basic properies page instead of the proper printer settings.
  21. Exactly what mine did glad you got it working buddy the thought of paying all that money out was not good
  22. i went down the odin route as kies would not detect the phone. I did a whoop when i fixed mine
  23. Does the yhgfl have anything similar (cant understand the ict4c website)
  24. My s3 did this and i had to flash the factory firmware back onto the unit. Google is your friend
