I normally wear like a canvas sand shoe/ninja slipper. The only downside to them is the lack of protection if anything gets dropped on them and also if I'm on my feet all day running around like a blue-bottomed fly then mild blisters do sometimes occur.

Same here fella. I'm about 6'2" and around 16st. I just feel sluggish and it feels as though my body is inefficient. I am starting to slowly get back into exercise but I'm not very motivated to do so. Even just long walks can help you but I do aim to then progress back onto running and cycling. I intend to cut out my drinking for a while (which should also help my bank balance), get a hybrid bike and eventually be exercising at least every other day of the week. My personal belief of where I should be at so that I feel healthier, lighter and more efficient, would probably be around 12st-ish.

Yes and I have to say that I'm more gutted about breaking them than I am about ruining my bank account (and also small portions of my life).

Well, the latest update is...they're broken. Some drunken fool came in to my house between Saturday night and Sunday morning, used my earphones, fell asleep and then woke up and ran off. Tried a different driver? I found that with a couple of our HP printers, the PCL5 driver didn't like tables formatted in Word and would misalign text and tables etc... Also, try other document types.

Using Firefox 4.0.1 on Win 7, all seems fine to me. Design is pretty good looking and well balanced i.e. not overpowered with the clutter of some websites but definitely not boring.

While that's true, there were also a whole load of fakes on Amazon and Play.com at one point so there still maybe some kicking about. Best way to find out whether theres a chance of the item being a fake, is to read the negative feedback (if there's anything that puts the validity of your item in doubt, then avoid that seller).

Sennheisers again, specifically the CX300 II Precision ones. I had some and they were awesome. They block pretty much all external noise which is great for ignoring the wife/girlfriend/mother etc... I'm going to get some today, just had to wait to get paid first. eBay are cheapest but beware fakes, there are loads kicking about. Should only cost about £10-£20 from eBay. Anywhere else, probably about £25-£35.

Interesting to see that the HDD market has been dominated by very few companies. I personally quite liked the desktar series after Hitachi bought that part of IBM.

I liked it but have to echo the sentiments of @CESIL. I don't think the disintegrating tires were a problem either. Red Bull got their strategy wrong and it cost them, whereas Lewis hamilton got his right and stuck it to Red Bull. Webber had a bit of a dismal start but due to a decent selection of tires available to him was about 3 seconds quicker than any man on the track later in the race. So far, this season hasn't been bad. Would still like to see budgets reduced further so that the smaller teams can catch up a little bit.

You've moved from 2003 to 2008 haven't you? We had the same problem. Make sure you're using the PCL6 drivers, and definitely double-check you've got the x86 drivers installed too. Windows Server 2008 (and R2) have increased security. But yeah, IIRC using the PCL6 drivers rather than say PCL5/5e got us working.

Definitely go for managed when dealing with core switches. This way you can use things like Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) to prevent outage due to a loopback somewhere on your network. You will also have a log which you can use to identify any ports that have excessive broadcasts on. There are many reasons why you should go for managed over unmanaged.

Seconded. I tend to find we run out of work to do so end up creating jobs. Cleaning things is often one of them, especially in our office.

Well I haven't used a scooter for commuting but have used my ZX-6R and I find that if I use the dual carriageway I can nip through traffic like a right smug (insert expletive). Most fo the time however I commute using the back-roads, where there is no traffic or generally very little. Peronally I've thought about getting a scooter due to running costs being so low but don't really think it'd be worth it for me unless I got rid of either the car or the bike.
