in theory yes but apparently some games do funny things when you run them on faster devices (so often the physics is tied to framerate and weird things happen if the framerate goes up too much) so its going to need some sort of slow down mode for some older games. But basically id guess its like developing for pc but instead of having a shed load of video options users can pick they will just make a profile for each console so an s gets basic graphics, an x gets advanced and a series x gets ultra for example

as i understand it its only microsoft who are saying their 1st party games will be cross gen if ubisoft say want to make assassins creed next xbox series x only they can. To me microosft are basically saying with this and gamepass we want you to play our stuff but we really dont care if you play it on an old console a new console or a phone From what ive heard the biggest reason 360 games never made it to the back compat list was licensing microsoft cant just "alter" a game without the right holders permission

ive just created a new namespace dfs rather than dfs$ and sharing the same folder that works(so \\fqdn\dfs$\share fails \\fqdn\dfs\share works). weird i wonder if its something to do with the $ as everything else seems to match

i have one site where for some reason i cant got offline files working on laptops (just tried a vm with literally just default domain policy applied as a test same result). i can sync from \\server\share\name but not from the same location as \\fqdn\share\name i just get a network access denied message even as domain admin. Any ideas. ive added security groups to the share and it seems to make no difference even as above created a test vm with no policies applied as a test

and with those stereos unless you want to upgrade to the ford "sony" one its going to be a pita as its iirc canbus connected so replacing it with aftermarket isnt a simple affair. if i had to guess its inadequately shielded/damaged/part unplugged wiring and its picking up noise from somewhere. does it alter with revs? is it from a specific speaker? my mk6.5 fiesta did something similar from time to time but "tapping" the centre speaker fixed it lol)

does anyone know how this works if your copier has codes on it and you try to print from say a chromebook? does it ask for codes or does the printjob just disappear into the ether?

honestly you could do all that with mdt and wds fairly easily

have you set it to copy existing contents i find setting that often causes it to fail and iirc its on by default

nope. left vm running for days dosent get the drive. for now ive given up i will try again in the new year it just feels like im banging my head against a brick wall

just run the commands now heres the result as was with just the options id altered in sharepoint itself the test vm has been running all night and still dosent have the shared drive im gpupdateing and rebooting the vm now and will leave it on to test again

it wouldnt let me select new client on both when i changed the onedrive one it auto changed the sharepoint one and if i then changed sharepoint it said This option can't be selected because you chose to sync SharePoint files with the new sync client.
