ive just created a test2 and that dumps the output fine. I did notice in the address bar of the older one it dosent say sites\name the new one does. i wonder if because i created that sharepoint site years ago for something they have made changes. im now going to try and use test 2 see if that maps

ive tried the powershell script again. it comes back with a result but im guessing its wrong the info im entering at the top is # Example https://$tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/$siteName $tenant = 'schooly.onmicrosoft.com' # xxxx.onmicrosoft.com $tenantId = 'a string o stuff' #Tenant ID, can be retrieved from Azure AD or PowerShell under optional. $siteName = 'test shared drive' #Sharepoint site name $docLib = 'Documents' #Sharepoint Document Library if thats any help

i think so it but it did ask several times for login credentials and did have red text. ive cobbled together the ones that should be in braces from another source (when i tried to sync using ie it asked if wanted to run something so i copied and pasted that data so ive extracted what i think might of been missing) and im now waiting again to see if that works. ms dont make this easy surely logged in as an admin there could be a generate id code button or something

i tried it as was from the powershell output left it a couple of days and nowt

in most cases unless you need intune you can probably get away with the free schools version of office 365. But basically follow the guides for setting up azure ad connect and sso (related but not identical) and then look into known folder move so documents/pictures/desktop are all in onedrive rather than on prem just be aware its incompatible with folder redirection and i have not managed to get it to automatically map shared sharepoint drives yet

just make sure its the newer model that has better battery life not the old og model (new model has a red box iirc)

everything that works with a tpm works without gpo wise so backing up keys is the same as if it had a tpm. to the best of my knowledge there is no gpo way of automatically actually encrypting the disk you could probably use a script to do it or (for pcs with tpm) make it part of your mdt setup

how are you doing drivers? try creating a task that only has the correct drivers tagged sometimes ive found on amd machines it can pick an intel driver by accident and fudge things up
