has anyone used these and if so can you use these to set registry/gpo settings to azure pcs (so put in the required gpo/reg keys to get onedrive to auto sign in for example)

have the pcs updated recently and if so have you updated the server as theres a windows update that stopped normal rdp working until i updated the server with some windows update or other(sorry cant remember which one i just did any it wanted). not sure if its the same issue but worth a shot

as i understand it the frequency of mons was/is based on gps "pings" so a "tourist attraction" (its been a while since ive been to sherwood forest) should rank high (ditto asda etc) its jsut anoying when the local wood has a nice trail with stops and a gym but naff all to catch and i think thats what eventually made me give up that and my inability to catch a lapras made worse when they blocked all the sites that said x will be here until x time

from what i remember the ml file is just there for your benefit to load and alter you need to get smart install manager to create an mst file and somethig like msiexsec /i "\\server\packages$\smart\educationinstall.msi" transforms="\\server\packages$\smart\custom.mst" /qb as your install "script" (i just deploy it via ad but i do have a script for odd pcs that may need it

its not impossible ive done it out of curiosity years ago I had osx 10.4 (I think) running on my hp laptop it worked fine apart from I had to use a usb wifi card and until I updated it

it also opens up a relatively easy way by the looks of it to make seriously custom "controllers" so you could use it to say build a dance mat or a flight stick or a car/plane cockpit if you can use the ports on the back with analogue inputs rather than just a switched on/off

i dont think you can stop it logging in to install software thats how mdt works BUT you could probably add ascript that locks the pc while its doing it

the sound controls are a lot different. im running it on my home pc and every now and again (and it seems worse with 1803 to the point changing source to something directly plugged into the tv and leaving the pc on means no sound) it decides to change the output type to something the amp its plugged into dosent support so no sound until i change the settings which have moved

onedrive sync client (web version isnt going to help me if i can get sso working it means one less reason for anyone to use a pen drive ever as if its auto setup they dont even have to plug in a pen drive to use it only caveat ive found is you have to have used onedrive at least once for it to work or it just prompts for credentials. ive manged to replicate my results on a 2nd vm so im happy it works at least in a test setting so thanks

and onedrive worked after using the later outlook link as well just seeing if i can replicate on a 2nd pc

ok back looking at it again as im not busy put auth method back to password hash (that was the default but some of the guides id been looking a said set to passthrough guide im following is https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/connect/active-directory-aadconnect-sso-quick-start so ive added https://autologon.microsoftazuread-sso.com to the local intranet zone (though clicking it i just get a 404 page where i am and where the remote server im on is both on completely different internet connections) made sure im using ie e=rather than edge only thing i can see that looks like it might be an issue is under singled sign on in azure it shows ad.domain name rather than domain name (ad. is the active directory name but ive added the non ad version as a suffix and my test users all have that assigned to them) im just going to mail.office365.com to test as that worked on my azure ad connected pc just tried https://outlook.com/owa/school and that signs in hmm ok to more fiddling its mainly one drive i want to auto signin

i thought education WAS enterprise just with a different name sticker on it. always use education pro dosent support some things being configured via gpo that edu does (cant think of any examples of teh top of my head though) iirc pro education is mainly meant as an upgrade version but i may be wrong

the xbox app has its uses tbh if you want to do screen captures it can actually be quite useful

the cheapest solution might be 2 normal kvms one for each screen just dont plug a kb/mouse into the 2nd one. the exception to this MIGHT be if the pc and kvm have displayport as i believe this can support multiple screens on 1 cable but i might be wrong (i "think" thats how my old nuc is rated for 3 screens even though it only has 2 outputs (ignoring widi)

put a few more hours into the first xenoblade chronicles game. its very different from 2 and im just not enjoying it as much (as you can tell by playtime in 2 weeks or so ive racked up 15 hours id probably racked up 40 in 2 in the same time) its not that its bad or even the graphics (being a wii game they arnt great) it just seems to be missing something and the story hasnt grabbed me. i suspect this one might make it into my pile of unfinished/abandoned games and i will start persona 4 on my vita instead which was one of the 2 reasons i bought a vita (the other was remote play so i could play p5 without getting out of bed lol) though im open to suggestions for good vita games theres supposed to be a decent jrpg library on it

hidden shares really only apply to windows devices iirc you can browse to them normally on a linux box / mac / probably an android device
