i will second that really enjoyed that game (never did complete it as it kept ramping the difficulty up near the end (basically when you get to max rank your next rank to get some perk you have to up the difficulty level) and i got to the point where id upped it slightly higher than my ability so i could eventually finish missions but having to do them repeatedly wore on me but i diddnt want to reduce my level as i liked the big sniper rifle i got as a perk (i think that was the perk). but spenf many a happy hour running round colombia shooting drug dealers from absurd range (i think i managed a 500m +head shot on one guard tower lol)

got 1000 Gamerscore on nier automata on xbox one. This time I only bought 1 achievement (upgrade all pods to full) as I didn't want to just endless grind for rare materials. Also watched some documentaries on youtube about nier/nier automata, its surpsising what id picked up about the earlier game and how much lore it filled in for me (not that im going to play it going back to old games after starting with the sequel is often a bad experience esp when even the doc I was watching said the gameplay wasn't great in nier also finally made a decent start into persona 4 golden (yes I just said about going back but persona 5 isn't exactly stretching hardware limits on a ps4 like nier automata did to the point I upgraded to a pro during it to get some fps lol) got past the 1st main dungeon after a few wipes (thank f if you die it just resets you to the last floor again or id of lost the 2.5 hours dungeon crawling to get there as I died a few times till I started making new persona that made me resistant to the boss's main attacks though robbing my character of his ability to deal major damage) decided against octopath traveller for now everything I read says it good in short bursts so a chapter or so at a time do too much at once and its gets dull but that's not how I play games I just play them for hours at a time till ive had enough then stop

if youve never used sccm before do some practice on vms its not straightforward from what i remember and tehre are gotchas like a default install of sql wont work it needs to be in roman mode for some reason

depends how many pcs you have tbh. setting up sccm isnt trivial and if you dont have a lot of pcs its possibly not worth it over mdt imo

why oh why cant you get the 4gb one with more storage 64 is all but useless and the price jump to the 8gb/128 is massive

i looked at it once. there are motherboards that can take a lot of sata drives and you can get raid cards that can take a lot but in the end i came to the conclusion what am i doing it for, am i solving any problem or am i just trying to find a use for old stuff and diddnt take it any further. sure a couple in a nas box etc might be a handy way having an extra backup but is it actually worth doing? at best you would have 12tb capacity in an array with disks that are desktop drives so probably not best suited to the job anyway. so raid 1 them and its 6tb of probably slow storage. unless you have a need for it id be tempted to just let them gather dust

well some if not all (not sure yet so many are secret achievement its a bit hard to say) of the glitched nier automata achievements popped once i rebooted my xbox and was doing some cleanup to get all the endings. I now have 25 of the endings, levelled up to 99 have most of the weapons, beat 2 of the 3 dlc dungeons and beat spoiler (hence why im level 99 at l83 they were kicking my bum) just basically have the annoying achievements left i think things like fully upgrading all pods/weapons that just require rng luck with grinding and im still missing 2 weapons which you can buy but only again its a bit rng based store has to be in x location and even then its not a guarantee they will be in stock the level 99 probably helped i managed to make a expup+8 so for quite a lot of the game was getting double experience and before that i was getting 1.5x iirc and tehres an enemy you can farm for ~19000 xp even in the 80s i was gaining 3-6 levels per fight i think im actually going to manage to do it without buying achievements this time as it always felt slightly wrong buying them on ps4 esp as it was my 1st platinum if youre playing it on xbox DONT put console to standby with the game running close the game and shutdown the console properly it seems

movie maker hasnt been part of windows since xp has it? there were downloadable updates for vista /7 but its not been built in for a long while. i THINK you can do it with paint3d (dont ask) as that does all sorts of clever stuff with video editing

yes but it dosent seem happy with txt files (or at least these) and as far as i can tell they arnt encrypted the server reads them fine. heres what i get the back aip window is for a file on the network the front from a local file on the users desktop

its not an encrypted file (or at least shouldnt be) it just a file that was on the server before starting to play with the setup. same as i cant open any bmp files from that location in paint. i can open the txt file in word but it contains literally one line of text for me to copy and paste (the temp domain name is a load of alpha numeric gibberish so i just deopped it in a text file for when needed) it appears as if every pre existing file on the server (and bear in mind its a test setup so thats about 10 files) is unreadable in anything but an office app. its as if the vm has decided once i installed the protection software that everything is protected even if it dosent need to be rather than stuff thats protected id protected. new files i create on that vm are fine and can be read but if i create a text file on the server the pc cant open it in anything but word

Has anyone looked at this yet? im having a brief play with it on a test domain and have come across an interesting side effect. currently its all on default settings and all i have done i install the msi client on my test vm but ive come across some unexpected behaviour (at least to me). From the network share i have setup with just odds and ends useful files in (read text files with copy and paste stuff) i cant actually read them in notepad i can in word but it seems to of classified my file share as a secure area to which my test user has no access (screen shot below) any ideas ass im not sure where to even start though my guess is i need the msi on the server so it can look at files

this one in leeds is pretty bad and its technically a motorway (a58/a64M) but 40mph. so you come out of a dark tunnel thats on a bend and have a short space to even see behind you/see people emerging before you get to a concrete wall. fair point but if its glitched will they even pop? and as i bought a few on ps4 i want to actually do a legit 1000g run (or at least attempt it the exp+3 is helping might have to see if i can make an exp+5/6 but that means id have to ditch hacking or shockwave i expect though

back into playing nier automata on the xbox this time. for an xbox onex enhanced game and playing at 1080p it still has slowdown issues and wierd item pop (so a fallen over concessions cart i can see through/dosent exist till im very close for instance) really enjoying it again on route b doing as many sidequests as i can and have a fairly different build, so 2b for most of the game instead of having clouds buster sword as the secondary weapon ive been attacking with a giant axe and im manually configuring plug in mode and doing what are probably odd configs with them still a great game just wish achievements diddnt seem to be glitched i diddnt get one until i closed and reopened the game then a few popped at once wonder if ive missed any and i probably ought to start exiting the game properly rather than just dropping the xbox to standby did get the upskirting achievement though lol
