the whole game is apparently full of references in speech etc (so its suposed to say something along the lines of i wish they would bring back project Gotham racing) i was quite impressed at the start you pick what your spoken name is and a. my name was there and b. it auto picked it for me. does sound odd though when the say hello Jonathan and i picked a female avatar because all the avatars look dumb and the pink haired lass looked the least ridiculous to me though setting her to pop and lock as a victory dance undoes that lol

in that case im not sure you have you i believe need to do all 4 seasons i think it started in summer so ive got winter and spring to go and ive unlocked drone a house (which iirc is when i could buy cars) so i think i need to do the winter and spring seasons before im in the game proper. yeah ive got a few cars from the prize wheels (including my daft 205 t16) ive also got some clothes and horns i may equip one day lol. theres 2 types of wheelspin as well a single wheel and a triple wheel

forza horizon 4 is also ~64gb on xbox onex well its definately a prety game to the point im seriously debating going out and buying a 4k compatible amp and a 4k tv and atm im running in 1080p performance mode. it feels like driving round Britain i was driving round somewhere in it and it just felt like driving along the snake/woodhead pass (though granted faster). first car i bough was my actual real car (though not tuned and a 5 door left hand drive version fiesta st its even the same colour though the wheels are wrong) and ive been bombing round in my own car smashing down walls and generally just messing around. ive got through the tutorial section up to autumn and i can go to winter when im ready. i was playing it before work but i just did a barn find (s1 escort rs turbo iirc) and a few boards/landmarks its fun so far but so was fh3 until it wasnt at least this time its cost me nothing (i got 4 weeks worth of game pass by eating at burger king lol) and when i get to winter i have the perfect car i won ive got a 205 t16 thats insanely fast and fun to drive. having said that from teh cars ive driven so far like previous iterations i think the more normalish cars are more fun (so mustang ish) as soon as you get to Bugatti or mclarens it requires enough concentration its less fun when my gaming laptop worked (the 1070 as soon as its enabled now makes it unstable) and i tried fh3 on it when it was new it was awful i dont think i ever got to play for more than maybe 10 mine before it crashed so i hope they a fixed that and b 4 is much better out of the box for pc

it sounds like a nice idea but i see 2 problems. 1 google, facebook et all (and lets be honest it would take a monumental shift in user traffic to dethrone them) arnt going to want this they need as much data on you as they can get regardless of privacy 2 that just means if someone is targeting you specifically all your info is in 1 place to be got at. While you could put this on say a nas at home (if i read it correctly) people wont they will house it on some free service that means back to having everyones info in the same place and a few big tempting targets

it does have to be said its a while since ive used a stock xb1 controller as i bought an elite controller when they came out. i was more thinking in terms of layout though i just dont get on with the dual analogues being both at the bottom. in some ways the switch pro controller is great but im not sure the dpad on that is great either. in terms of preference for me it probably a tie between xbox elite/switch pro (depending on the game) then ps4 dead last as i dont like that dpad much either tbh i think the best dpad is the elite when you have the weird octagon on it but its very game dependant. ergonomically to me the ps4 is definitely the worst its far too light and too small i actually find a duke about as comfortable though the latest rev i got with my pro is better ps i recognise that a £150 controller is a bit of a cheat but its what i use by default on my xbox i donr think the one i got with the x has been used beyond initial setup then i pulled the batteries out and left it at the side of the console

it really does depend what you want to play. Id say my switch is by far the most used console since i got it the only games that come close to even my zelda save file time are nier automata (on both twice on ps4 because i diddnt believe what it said) horizon zero dawn and ghost recon wildlands. But even added together id bet those are less time than in xenoblade 2 alone on my switch. If you want wierd indy games, jrpgs or nintendo stuff its a great console if you want spiderman, horizon zero dawn, god of war or forza horizon 4 its not.

the dualshock is a terrible controller always has been but the latest version is better. you can get xbox style controllers for the ps4 (you can even get adapters to allow you to run an xbox controller on a ps4 but they arent great i believe)

tbh if you have a decent gaming pc theres no point buying an xbox (this from an xbox fan) all the ms exclusives are crossplay so just get em on the pc. ps4 pro noise i believe there are 2 versions one with a good a silent fan one with a cheap noisy one i have the quiet one ive never really heard any fan noise from it (though granted i dont have a 4k tv yet) i cant see rdr2 NOT coming to the pc at some point. 4k bluerays are an intersting point but from normal blu rays the xbox plays them less well than a ps4 std (ive had 3 xbox ones (500gb 1tb forza 6 and an x) and 2 ps4s (launch and pro) and last time i played a blu ray on my one the av sync was odd by enough to be annoying never had that issue with the ps4 (never tried 4k as i have no disks and need to upgrade the amp before the tv anyway) tbh since i got it switch is the most used console i own but 500+ of those hours are one game ive barely found a reason to turn my xbox on all year i think the only real action its gotten was playing nier automata though as ive managed to get 4 weeks free gamepass from burgerking im going to play forza horizons 4 for a bit

1st on teh server set ie as your default browser. then open up wsus somnewhere on teh updates page is a link to get updates into wsus (sorry its currently cleaning up here and taking ages so i cant check) and it goes to a specific website that allows you to add updates to wsus (it needs ie or it dosent work iirc)

at a guess it dosent think its got the latest cumulative update and ive found at 1 site wsus dosent seem to want to download them automatically and i have to manually add them every month

id setup a virtual nic thats just one real nic next time one fails try moving it to that

do you have nic teaming set up? ive had vms just stop talking to the network for no reason move them from the teamed nic to an "actual" nic and they worked fine without rebooting anything

arnt hybrid worse the ice as you still have the ice pollutants plus you end up with a lot of extra weight being lugged round increasing that and still have a nasty set of batteries to dispose of at the end of the cars life and they are way more complex and more likely to go wrong than either ice or proper electric?

but enterprise/school is no longer their target audience its 1:1 devices with light touch management and they dont look like changing that anytime soon which is why i keep looking more and more into azure ad and tbh chromebooks. My laptop at home is now iffy (thanks dell <2 years old and this 2k laptop has issues out of warranty) and im just not going to replace it i barely use anything at home but a chromebook and the nuc i have under the tv. if the nuc dies i think im just going to try putting my chromebook there as a replacement and if that works just getting a chromebox rather than a windows box

theres a gpo for it. computer config/admin templates/system/user profiles/delete user profiles older than a specified number of days on system restart fill in the number in the box to what makes sense for you

their idea like it or not is azure ad/intune where assuming its the same as office 2016 auto deploy its a piece of cake to deploy it to any and all pcs you want it on. ms dont want you having anything on prem but a router as that way you have to pay yearly for a service rather than buying windows 10/office 2016 and using it till the pc dies

as games they were very similar definitely but im not sure thats a bad thing in and of itself. they really werent game though they were basically an electronic choose your own adventure book and i enjoyed them for that. The engine did have issues ive never had it eat a save file but ive had weird issues and crashed in most of the games ive played. I suspect the problem was similar games is fine as long as you dont do too many and people still want them but they diddnt seem to read the signs (is what im seeing). They also had a bad release schedule i would never buy a game until all episodes were out as they were terrible at releasing them prompt and by that time the game was usually cheap and i assume their business plan was for people to buy expensive and early but they pretty much made that pointless

i have also found theres a gpo (and i cant remember it exactly hardened unc paths i needed to add sysvol and netlogon to iirc (sorry i cant remember where it is but that has sometimes stopped software deploying for me in the past on windows 10)

finished the torna expansion on Saturday. For dlc thats a good expansion ive got less enjoyment/time out of full games before now. took me about 30 hours and there is still stuff i could do if i wanted (community/side quests ive missed, skill trees to finish, super bosses to kill etc) probably wouldnt work as well if you haddnt played the main game first but the end hit me like a truck even though i knew roughly what was going to happen started dragon quest 11 and so far its very meh the music is ok to annoying (which is a massive change from xb2/torna where its fantastic) to the point im debating turning it off. ive gotten far enough into it that my party has 4 characters but im still not really feeling it its obvious that big event near the start will be undone by deus ex machina later on in the game. the voices are a bit odd as well its definitely anime but when they are talking in west country/southern.who knows what accents its odd to say the least. its not a bad game (so far) but it just seems to be missing something the fact ive only died once and that was due to basically being too lazy to heal up before a boss and ive been avoiding a lot of fights leads me to believe its not going to be a hard game to complete im just wondering if i might have more fun playing tomb raider

diddnt they lose the code for ff8 which is why it gets remastered less? of that list never played/heard of,see above,think ive played and own on steam,never played,never played, meh, never played, nope(dont do horror games i just dont get it at all), never played, never played, old tomb raider sucks, never played i doubt you will get more than 1 game per franchise so as its getting ff7 id forget about 8/9. literally the only game i can remember enjoying on ps1 that i cant get on ps4/3/vita/steam already are ridge racer and gran turismo and im going to go oujt on a limb and say they wont of aged well will look awful on a modern tv esp just based on screen size and probably could really do with the analogue sticks. With the crash/spyro remakes i doubt they will be on the mini and the further you go away from 1st party sony titles the harder the licensing will be
