i think the creative labs mp2 card was din on one end vga on the other but i might be mistaken its been a while

fair point my last 3 laptops have all had 17" screens as i find them easier to get on with and the size/weight dosent bother me that much (current laptop is i believe 4.5kg lol) i do use a 11" chromebook at home though for general surfing but find when i want to do anything serious a big screen is a huge help

or the rear cabling to wire up a 2d card a 3dfx and a hardware mpeg card lol

yeah that as well but even the new copy of msr crashes a lot and the drive sounds odd so i think its had it but for an 18 year old device i cant grumble too much

well i beat them this morning for the achievement but i dropped the difficulty to safety mode lol (i did get to round 26 before getting wiped out on normal). i think tbh my main issue was i diddnt look into it before i tried to do it and by the time i did it was the last day you could do it and i was already in mementos after having killed the giant dick in a wheelchair monster lol so wasnt in a position to buy healing items etc. gained a few levels from it and might try again on easy (as once you put it in safety mode your file is forever set that way once you save and i dont want that but willing to do to get the trophy) so 4 achievements left (i forgot one last time) make some persona (need either lots of levels or lots of cash but as i haddnt sold anything the entire ng+ playthrough i have 400k of stuff and ive gained about 300k grinding so i might manage to buy the persona im missing for the pokedex trophy . and 2 that should now pop naturally

my dreamcast is becoming unreliable but im not 100% sure if thats the new vga adapter (my old one died) or not as i dont really want to run it on a 42" screen(only thing i have with a scart on it) i cant imagine it blows up to that size well but its ok on my 24"monitor. i even ordered a new old stock msr to see if it was just that as my disk was a bit worse for wear but it still crashes a fair bit

what difficulty? ive got yoshitune but I keep getting to round 16 and getting booted for not causing enough damage (also got Satan/Michel and a few other level 90 odd persona) I just don't seem to be able to do much damage to them (90-150 ish) and they keep hitting my weaknesses even with dodge as high as its likely to get. I wonder if im spending too much time/sp debuffing them so im not actually hitting them but I seem to spend as much time healing/buffing/debuffing as damaging them

id rather have a dreamcast mini tbh as most of the megadrive games youd want are on xbox/ps4/pc anyway a lot of dreamcast games arnt

only 4 trophies off platinuming persona 5 now. 2 will auto pop (all confidants the 2 levels im missing are story related and I just need to advance the story but cant yet the other the platinum when I do everything else) the other 2 are complete the "pokedex" which im ~70% done with but cant complete as I need money and/or levels and the final one is beat the twins which ive tried a few times and cant get past move 16 before they wipe me out and im on the last day in the game where you can do it so I have 2 choices 1 ignore it this time and do a run dedicated to that from an earlier save file (I suspect that wont work well as it would mean less good confidant rankings so less good persona) or a long grind, luckily im in a position to do that its just going to be a long and tedious process to go from low 70s to much higher when all I can fight give me ~1000 xp and levels are 15k+ at least sp isn't an issue I can regen that and swap my party round so they regen it as well. shame I didn't take advantage of the flu season weather earlier in the game as that got me 9 levels in a single cheesed fight but doing that without cheesing nearly wiped my party out in 1 hit last time I tried it yesterday

got the guardian fish in persona 5 trophy by save scumming lol

lol if you like that sort of thing its probably a good game but even the trailers put me off (for reference i gave up on the walking dead tv series after about 1 1/2 episodes for the same reason)

na it looks too violent/gorey for my taste

have you tried manually adding the codes? on an encrypted pc open up an admin powershell session manage-bde -protectors -get c: assuming that returns data now dumps the number to a text file where its easier to copy and paste manage-bde -protectors -get c: >bl.txt now copy the numerical password id and drop it where ive written long code below manage-bde -protectors -adbackup c: -id ‘{long code}’ note you need the ' round the code or it fails

got my first new achievement in persona 5 in about a year by taking down a boss in mementos. i did cheese it attacked it and then ran away till it was despaired and then just boosted defense/reduced offence until it died lol but it took me from level 45 to 54 in 1 go lol. so now im a tad overlevelled but still got one shot killed this morning in an annoying part as id jsut gone through a dark maze and haddntt got to the next save spot grrr i also think the fishing / baseball trophies might be easier now as theres books for them it helped a bit with the fishing at least

you could probably use the laptops webcam in theory

worth pointing out that only 1 person needs to buy it as well the other person can download a "demo" i believe they just wont get achievements/trophies got my vita yesterday and being able to stream my ps4 to that is a damned handy feature so its much easier to play p5 while watching other stuff lol just got to learn where not to put my hands on the back keep catching l2/r2 on the touchpad

gpo user config\admin templates\start menu and taskbar\remove common programs from the start menu enable iirc

so far ive played it a few dozen times and hit the ball 3 times lol

i suspect the one that will honk me off the most is score a home run or the fishing one i have the futaba one from one of my 1st 2 playthroughs last year

not had any of those issues and most of my laptops dont have tpm if you set the policy correctly ive never had it screw up a machine (ive had it fail to encrypt because of conflicting policies but never fail) if you have a tpm and image with mdt you can install it and as soon as mdt finishes the drive is encrypted

if i could only have 1 now (and now the switch has been out a year its easier to include that) i think the order id buy them in is switch - ps4 - xbox one(but probably a games pc if i could stretch to it see further down) but it really depends on what games you want. i cant think of many reasons to get an xbox one atm there are currently few exclusives and all of those (at least 1st party ones) work on pc anyway so if you have a decent pc and a ps4 an xbox is a waste of time (and this is someone who bought a one x (and a ps4 pro) and has been in the ms console ecosystem since the og xbox as much as i hate to say it its an also ran this generation and i fully expect the switch to overtake it in sales) again its all personal preference but games from last year i enjoyed most in approximate order xenoblade chronicles 2 (switch) ~290 hours still playing on and off persona 5 (~200 hours and am currently replaying for trophies) ps4 nier automata (ps4) zelda botw (switch) ghost recon wildlands (xbox but its on pc/ps4) splatoon 2 (switch) mariokart 8dx (switch) as others have said controllers can be an issue id rather use an xbox controller than a switch pro and ps4 controller id rather not use at all as ive never got on with dual shocks but the latest versions i hate less

gone back to playing persona 5 and trying to platinum it. got past futabas palace now into august several social links maxed out or nearly maxed out and the star thing complete after that i bough the 1st xenoblade chronicles for my wiiu and this morning i bought a ps vita to play persona 4 golden on (and so i can use my ps4 in bed lol)

im sure we can mine that for a while and while were mining craft something out of it

it sounds a bit like the pc is in duplicate screen mode and the main screen is being detected as screen 2 windows p and set to duplicate should fix it baring that there is a command you can run to do that maybe try rdping into one and running that command
