Please could you vote for this charity video. I spent 7 hours the other Sunday helping produce, from in front of the camera, this charity video. I'm in it for about a It for about a second or so ;-) The winners will get 10,000 euros for the support group for Breast Cancer Support. We are almost neck & neck with Spain and could do with a boost. It's a strange system, you can vote every day and with as many emails as you have, just register the address once and votes as often as you can in the next 7 days.... Please.. BUST

If you are thinking of using LM, it's a bit like running before you can walk. You need to be using SIMS much better than you suggest. It is not worth paying for LM if the school doesn't use Attendance properly.

Have you got Focus|Attendance|Take Register, where you/they can search for each others registers? Providing teachers have Class teacher asccess in System manager 7

We would charge about half of that. Use DBattach.exe it will do all you need. Make plenty of backups (probably goes without saying)

I've never set up a specific group or user for DM, I have looked at a school and cannot find a setting for Dinner Registers. How did you get to this?

Sounds like they set the group up wrong.

'By law, schools are required to record in the attendance register - once at the beginning of the morning session and once in the afternoon...' I have not heard anything that says who can or cannot do this. It is still done by non trained admin staff in some schools. I'm not sure of the Access Rights. Have you tried setting up an LSA group?
