Exactly. I met someone for dinner in a pub who I had only ever communicated with online. We've now been married 4 years and have two kids. Internet doesn't always mean bad, although obviously you have to be careful. As for Facebook, it has it annoyances, but I'm too nosey to give it up! I just very seldom post anything personally, and I don't see how it can damage relationships - unless you have secrets, and why would one party post something that they didn't want the other to know about anyway?

I wonder what this means for the version of Office which is included on Surface RTs? It's about the only thing I have found useful about my Surface RT, so it would be a huge loss for it to disappear.

I've had mine for a while and I haven't updated any firmware, so that's probably why mine likes on FAT32. Thanks to the other posters, I'll have a look at the updated firmware!

I've got a VE200, and as far as I know, the ISO mount function only works if the drive is formatted FAT32. Not sure if that applies to the other models?

Looks to me like there is a piece of 'trim' or cover missing. I would think there should be something in the indented oval to cover the hole where you can see the exposed copper. Remember that two wires have to join to one inside that Y piece so some copper wire there is not unexpected.

That's a rather sweeping statement isn't it?! Not everyone that rents a house trashes it. There are some of us who can't get onto the property ladder for one reason or another who live decent lives and don't feel the need to trash the landlord's property.

How about running a bead of superglue around the join between the front and back shells as an emergency interim measure? Terrible design flaw though - should have been bonded at the factory I would have thought.

If it's a building issue and you can't get a signal inside with any operator, have a look at moving to O2 and using their TUGo app - this gives you all calls and texts routed via WiFi but still using your allowances.

No - I said almost disrespectful. If you are a member of staff they don't see very often, or are new, then fair enough Sir or Miss is fine. But what about, for example, someone who has been their form tutor for a year or more? Disrespectful is possibly the wrong word, but I think it's reasonable to expect that long term pupils will know their teachers title and surname. They don't call their friends 'boy' and 'girl' (or similar generic terms) after all.

Ridiculous idea - no way should students be using staff's first names. As has been said, whatever happened to staff keeping an appropriate distance from pupils? With regards to the Mr/Sir/Mrs/Miss debate, teachers spend a great deal of time and effort to learn the names of the many students they teach, so is it really too much to ask of the students that they bother to learn the proper title and surname for their own teachers? To me, Sir/Miss is just laziness and is almost disrespectful in itself - that the student didn't show enough respect to learn your name.

I'm having some issues with some of my computers failing to pick up GP deployed software. It isn't happening to all of the machines, but the same ones seem to exhibit the problem. The just don't seem to be picking up the Group Policy updates over a large number of reboots. All of the machines will update and install the software upon issuing a gpupdate /sync /boot locally. The machines are getting shutdown at night and show no other problems. We are running Windows 8 and Server 2012. Any ideas? Thanks Chris.

I'm just trying to find a reference to confirm that I don't need any sort of PRS licence - I can't get into my head why I wouldn't need one! Thanks

We want to introduce a pupil radio show at our primary school and I am taking the lead on setting it up. We intend to produce an occasional show playing combined recorded music, recorded speech and live speech content, 'broadcasting' via the school intranet using Windows Media Encoder and Media Player. I am getting a headache trying to work out what licenses we need to do this! We already have the standard PPL and PRS licences covering 'public performance' but as I understand it there are other licenses we need for the 'broadcast' element. As far as I can see, the Student Radio licence from PPL covers us with their requirements, but I can't see for the life of me what licence we might need from PRS? I'm thinking nothing at all as it would be covered under the performance licence we already have, but I can't find any firm information to confirm or deny this. Has anyone else done anything similar who can advise? Many thanks!

I'm amazed they could find nearly 2 minutes of footage without any crashes happening!
