    It's _probably_ doable on a "late one", but i'd suggest making some time to get to grips. If there's a specific time when you want to do it, as plexer says... giz a shout (or one of the support guys) and we'll try and accomodate - this will get easier as time goes on

    No... never heard of it. Appears to be rebadged quickheal, which doesn't usually get on fantastically in the vb100 comparatives but at least it's there..

    We're getting it out - very slowly! As its a big change, some we've been continually taking feedback from the first bunch of folks, some of you will already have the first run of updates which are needed to support G3, these will hopefully go fully live in a couple of weeks, and during that time we'll keep adding new g3 users. Sure i'll be contacting a few peeps soon to say "hi, you got chance to do a bit of an upgrade?"

    Cisco is a great firewall, but won't offer filtering. Also if you are new to Cisco you may find the learning curve a bit steep. It will do what you want out of a firewall tho.

    I could be _waaaaaaaaay_ out on the pricing there - I was including software clients for users (not needed in dumb handsets) and 100 quid handsets like the ones our salesteam use, and not accounting for volume discount - so I may be being a bit mean to zultys but certainly it is not the cheapest system. As john said, we are 100% hardphone. Upstream we connect via ISDN30, PSTN *and* SIP Incidentally Equiinet have started to do voip stuff too...

    We're using a Zultys system - we've had one in Leeds for >5 years, and our southampton and charlotte offices now also run them. Very nice system, very easy to use, bit "windows centric" but completely self contained, and works with a variety of handsets. I'd estimate you'd be looking at maybe 30-40k for that size of system, but thats a bit of guesswork. Happy to show you the UI/chat about it on the phone.

    Saw one that was something like T65 SSH the other day, on a newish vehicle, they had clearly picked "SSH" tho not for the reason I would perhaps?

    Our anonymous pal from censornet has got it fairly spot on there. We're working on ways to track skype, but you can't do it by URL, and even when you can its "is using skype/is not using skype" kind of granularity

    Get your CV to some recruitment consultants. They are often pushier than you could ever hope to be, and will force you to the top of the pile in some cases. Costs nowt and will do you no harm.

    Hm, thats on Dewsbury road IIRC... thought about going there, but its pretty small looking. Wouldn't have classed beeston as a polish area, but you never know. Closest decent sized supermarket is sainsbury @ white rose.. give that a tickle too maybe...

    One step at a time! Damn thing hasnt even arrived yet - it will come to my home address tomorrow between 8 and 6... yes, those hours when normal people work. Apparently I have to let them try in vain once before i can get it redelivered. Great. Still dubious about not having keys.

    Just caught up on thees thread. For the smoothie speculators, we do an SMTP/PoP proxy. You could probably reroute internal mails through it, though I don't recall anyone who is doing that. "Zap" is the name )which we are trying to retire as it is hardly descriptive) for a module which provides the two proxies. Mailshell provides anti-spam/phishing capability to this module, and VIPRE the anti-malware. There's no cyber-bullying rules... yet.

    Yes - @ moderate I saw some lady parts. @sidewinder; it is perfectly possible with a decent filter (and some bad ones) to enforce strict safe search, and this is highly advisable even for staff (who might search by accident.. on a projector/whiteboard... there's been teachers prosecuted for such things (of course this was in the US..))
