hmmm would show you a pic of mine, but i could see some insults coming my way, we have an old classroom not a small one either with 2 desks me and NM then the tea/coffee area aswell as 2 leather sofas, a small room coming off that is 1 of 2 server rooms as well as the store cupboard.... we also have an office that use to be the teachers study room on the other side (another building) that has running water in and alot of work space for the it tech. I will quickly run and hide now while the insults build up http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t286/DJ-Jonesy/Office.jpg

No to sure about the live stream, but if the res squares is a backgound/layout the way i done it was upload it as a Background image then create Regions into the designed boxes. Works for me and looks good.

We installed Novatech Nbox's into 2 It suites with 19" widescreen LED Acer monitors, The Nbox attach to the back of the monitor and look fantastic. We have had no damage done to them hardly anybody moves them about and they work great worth a look at

For the Costco offer all you need to do is take some sort of Council ID and a utilty bill to your nearst costco as well as £30 for a year membership. Thought some people may like.
-
Same here top bloke, no hassle from them at all and he even treated the team to lunch once
-
Wow didnt no that, will have to look into that one. You also have the cycle to work scheme soo much money for a bike and you pay it back, and also local gym membership if you work for the local council.

For my car at the mo 1.6 mk4 golf it costs me £1200 insurance (i am 21) first year cost me close to 2k Tax is £215 for the year.. cant see why the mk4 GTI above is only £130. I can get 500+ miles from a full tank too. Ohh friend just said about a 1.5 Renualt Megane supposely the MPG can be HUGE towards the 60-70+ range... dunno how true that is tho.
-
yeah the blue motions are more expensive but the normal tdi will give you 50+ mpg on that journey check out here, really spot on cars never had a problem with these Used Cars for Sale from FOW - The UK's 1st All Makes Car Supermarket
-
What about a Golf TDI Blue motion fantastic on fuel ecomeny and cheap on tax £30 -£50 a year looks cool extremely reliable probelry towards the top end of your budget and can aslo be fun to drive too.

its a shame that there is no ending to it really. if there was say some ending at level 50 i would play it more. but do agree is a laugh espc on split screen
-
i agree with the landy people on here if you want 4x4 then its only a Land Rover dont be too scared of Range rovers the older models are not actually that big, but a defender 110 for the space or 90 for being small are cool cars easily repairable by either your self or some one near you. A mate who is land rover made (bit of an understatment hes 20 and already owned 5 landys) keeps trying to convince me to get a discovery.

if you want pictures and video playing with a centeral place for teachers to dumb look at Win 7 with windows live gallery on then just change the folder redirection to a shared folder? dunno how often it updates but myabe worth looking at.

Thanks for all the adivec people. i shall have to talk it over with the boss as dont want more work if a simple fix will keep them happy. i will update on what happens lol
-
exactly, i cant see the big thing about it i dont run a android or an iphone so i can quiet happily live with out apps. our school website runs on the phones pretty well to be honest its just that we have a java latest news scroller with images that can be viewed. no big deal.. but to SLT an app would be fancy and state of the art. lol (no just copying the college lol)
-
The app will be available to all teachers students and members of the public. its only that the college oppasite have created an App as well that they like the look of and SLT would like something similar as they all have iphones. Been looking at the software for App developers provided by apple them selves doesnt seem too bad.
-
Been looking at creating an Ios app and Android app for the schools latest news events ect.. has any one done this and if so how easy do you think it would be? Thanks Dan
-
I belive its just updating the old out of date one with a fresh upto date one running a CMS so that the school it self could upload the latest news and change some bits and pieces. what would be best on offering as support IE there thats its done this is how to do it..... no longer my responsabilty or would you offer 6 months or 1 year support?
-
i have been approched by a primary school that i do not support to offer my services in website design. i made and maintain ours atm and pretty new to CMS. I was just wondering what would people charge a primary school for a simple website thats stats the obvious that school needs to and also displays latest news ect. Nothing too special. Thanks Dan
-
Thanks for the advice, i may just have to have a sit down with the misses and work out whats best ect.. thank you
-
