  1. Hi All, I need to impliment an Anti Spam solution that works with our Exchange server. Basically, same old story, need to do this fairly cheaply [or free if poss!]. Can anyone suggest a suitable product? Cheers, Glenn.
  2. On "Web Sites" right click and select "Properties" then select "Directory Security" and then "Authentication and access control". Check the various settings there..... Also, check permissions on the C:\PHP folder [if that is where you left the PHP.exe].
  3. Have you looked at the Becta site? There are standard templates there.
  4. Have you double checked the permissions, especially "Anonymous User" in IIS?
  5. I'm based in Castle Cary [ in the middle of nowhere! ]
  6. Have seen the results of a bulb explode at a primary school, showering lots of little children [and contents of the room] with very fine shards of glass! That wasn't pretty!
  7. Got this from the PHP site.... "Make sure any user who needs to run a PHP script has the rights to run php.exe! IIS uses an anonymous user which is added at the time IIS is installed. This user needs rights to php.exe. Also, any authenticated user will also need rights to execute php.exe. And for IIS4 you need to tell it that PHP is a script engine." " You must set the cgi.force_redirect directive to 0. It defaults to 1 so be sure the directive isn't commented out (with ";") Like all directives, this is set in php.ini Because the default is 1, it's critical that you're 100% sure that the correct php.ini file is being read." " To be sure your php.ini is being read by PHP, make a call to phpinfo() and near the top will be a listing called Configuration File (php.ini). This will tell you where PHP is looking for php.ini and whether or not it's being read. If just a directory PATH exists than it's not being read and you should put your php.ini in that directory. If php.ini is included within the PATH than it is being read. If php.ini is being read and you're running PHP as a module, then be sure to restart your web server after making changes to php.ini" Check these settings and let me know what happens
  8. Hmmm....OK. Maybe we should look at what changes you made to PHP. Can you describe what you did?
  9. Might be worth trying to restart IIS to see what happens? If nothing, then try rebooting the Exchange Server. Kinda primitive solution but well worth a try!
  10. Are they not in the same OU? You could create a Policy linked to that OU and bob's your uncle!
  11. Whoops! Sorry!
  12. Can you not run it as a startup script? That would be the easiest way I think.
  13. You may want to have a look at Sharepoint 2007 & the SLK before you get too far down the Class Server route. As Class Server is now defunct, you will probably run into problems later on.
  14. Have a look at this link, it may help? http://www.mcse.ms/message1257955.html
  15. So do you access exchange webmail from inside Moodle? Have you tried accessing Exchange directly to make sure it's OK? i.e. http://exchange-server/exchange/username
  16. Hmmmm... I got 6/10 with the same message and now looking nervously at my Tech that I hired!
  17. Just out of interest, what was this to fix? The only reason I ask is that we had a problem with Flash not loading correctly and I had to write a similar script to correct it. If I remember correctly I had to copy a folder to the "All Users" profile though.
  18. Teamviewer is pretty good and free! http://www.teamviewer.com/index.aspx
  19. I have a Kixtart script which logs this [amongst other things]. You could tag it to the login script? If you are interested, let me know.
  20. Sadly, the problem lies with getting the end user to READ the error message. How many times have we all had kids walk in the office and say "My computer don't work!" .... "What's the error message?" .... "Dunno".
  21. Hi Localzuk and everyone else!
  22. Has the lamp warning light come on? You can reset that by holding down the "Help" button on the remote control for 10 seconds to fix that. Might be worth pulling the power lead out for 30 secs first though to see if that brings it back online.
  23. If money is no object, would suggest Ontrack EasyRecovery. http://www.ontrackdatarecovery.com/file-recovery-software/ Bit steep but I guess it sepends how much the data is worth to you?
