  1. Hi, How does anyone make the magets extremely secure? Ours come with them little two threaded screws so just wondering if it was even possible to get them out and put something more substanale in they are that type (you see the two sticky up bits)
  2. Sorry it doesn't do the costing side of it
  3. Hi, How do you delete a post from a deleted user? We get no option to delete it https://imgur.com/DWUpNv4
  4. Hi, Does anyone have a spreadsheet that tracks printing charges etc by paper size/colour/duplex etc? I've been asked if i can somewhat set one up for church related things and my head has fried multiple times trying to work out the different varibles?
  5. ours is weird as we have like 505s and 515s (Aruba) APs but for some reason they decided to do our school so they're all getting ripped out and we're getting way more access points and 10gb switches for them then the APs we originally have will go elsewhere in trust or in school
  6. Has it gone up? it's always been £5 for us (£1 isn't much difference )
  7. Ye we would have needed way more network drops adding in school, once i found out you passthrough them took some pressure from me (all the classes have double network points but the thought of checking every one to see if it even still functions I will catch up with her tomorrow to see if she heard back (she even said if the overall cost was about £5 per phone, it wouldn't be that bad when it could potentially be £75 per extra network drop as it'll be slightly cheaper
  8. my Manager asked the company today if they do 1gb versions of the phones instead of 100mb or something equivalent
  9. Perfect, i think they mostly got new switches for the wifi APs (they are the 2930M). Trust IT are hoping to claim some of our 2930F but i don't think they'll get as many as they want due to us planning full PoE CCTV. Not really looked into CTC that much but i am assuming its mostly wifi based and i wasn't involved in the inital walk around, just seems a waste ripping out APs to replace them with the same model
  10. I'll try and have a word with the supplier, i hope nothing has been set in stone regarding orders
  11. On the Gamma one, we can use ipads and phones etc as well as the normal phone, unsure regarding vlans but we got told that they hardly use bandwidth anyway, if we had 100 people ringing at once, it'll be about 10mb worth of bandwidth but i wasn't involved in the initial planning regarding what phones are what We got the vvx150 for general classrooms, the office ones will be a different handset which is 1gb Will teach them a lesson not to mess around with cables
  12. Just curious we are getting our work done next month (hopefully), 9 new switches got ordered (we currently use 21 2930F) and a bunch of APs. I am assuming they'll leave the original switches in and just add the extra 9? As 9 won't be enough to keep our school networked up?
  13. Got no idea to be fair, probably not come to think of it
  14. Hi, Has anyone used the ip phones as a pass-through for PCs (so network cable to phone then network cable from phone to pc)? Just wondering if anyone has any issues with it We're looking at the Gamma Phone system, the only real problem i see is that they are 100mb and not 1gb on the phones but should be fine anyway
  15. We have to check them monthly anyway to see if they are still secure or not
  16. I have got higher quality photos, just don't know how this site worked But depending on Budgets, my plan is to get rid of them projectors (we have about 9-12 rooms using that type bracket) as we don't have any instructions on that bracket but to be fair, it has lasted easily 15 years and i am assuming its unistruct on a beam further back but will look tomorrow https://i.imgur.com/5O9LDBg.jpeg Hopefully that link would work? But the checks was due to that TV falling on someones head Just a shame they didn't use the classed sahara projector bracket like every other projector in school Unistrut is great when used properly, but from the photo it looks to be resting on the ceiling tiles which is definitely not how it should be done! It's attached to the ceiling beam things
  17. Hi, I require some installation instructions for a bracket that was fitted years ago (way before i started) for health and safety reasons Does anyone know what make or recongize the bracket ? Thanks for your help (been looking around for hours)
  18. How does this work when you have to reload every pc in school? We currently PXE boot then intune does the rest but we may go serverless in school (or ditch as many servers as possible) in 2025 due to them becoming EOL
  19. I can't remember top of my head where it ran but our IT Support company is looking into removing it but its weird as it says it hasn't run when i saw it running i've posted a screenshot below
  20. What i did, i logged onto a pc that was off and looked at running tasks in task scheduler and we have a CSP Reboot one and then it rebooted but no one knows where it came from so i've asked for it to be removed - - - Updated - - - What i did, i logged onto a pc that was off and looked at running tasks in task scheduler and we have a CSP Reboot one and then it rebooted but no one knows where it came from so i've asked for it to be removed
  21. nope, he even did a command in powershell that shows all the scheduled tasks and it wasn't there and they did it via a powershell script i think originally
  22. Hi, Our external provider made a shutdown script and it reboots after 10 mins of logging on but only once in the morning. They have removed the script yet it still does it (script cant be found anywhere on the pc) Do any of you lot know what may be causing it?
  23. Hi Trust has required us to need a vpn for our CC4 Access server so staff can access sims from home. Does any schools use the RM SSL Connect VPN. Just wondering how easy it is for staff to use it? and how like idiot proof it is? And what the set up was like?
