Hi, we've had a few issues where our internet gets saturated by loads of people doing ios updates in school time (they dont go through the cache) i've looked into blueprints on jamf but got a few questions Will it only download the update at 19:05pm and install? If the ipad is off at that time will it try again the next day at 19:05pm? How do other schools deal with IOS updates?

hI, Has anyone else had issues with the IOS app on teams (version 8.16 (100772026162301) Team classes open up as "threads" and not the usual layout They open perfectly fine in the browser and on the PC version of teams and open on the android app fine but it says "some members have a different layour, which may afect message order and certan notifications" is it a bug with the latest teams update on ios? or is it the new teams is going for education? (couldn't find alot of into about it) I've attached screenshots (one in dark mode is on pc). it seems to be any students or teachers that are on that version

Hi, currently we have a group on our phone system which you can push on your phone and it dials 2 phones in reception but the only issue is, it doesn't tell you what classroom it is when you push it (it just says emergency page) so we may struggle to work out what classroom it is if no one is able to talk. is their an alternative we can do or what do people use on gamma phone system?

Hi, im coming across error 0x800f081f on one of our vms (the one we use for printing). I've tried reseting windows updates, clearing softwaredistribution, i've tried installing the update manually and updates prior to it but they fail as well (it appeared to have stopped after circumlative update KB5055526) The update its trying to install is KB5063880 tried to do an inplace upgrade (from 2022 to 2022) to see if that would allow it but it doesn't so running out of ideas It's installing other updates fine, it just seems to be the circumlative ones that fail

Unsure if im doing something wrong but it hasn't solved it for us. i log on the admin account and import the admx into the users then enable it and restart (we're on an intune network and on windows 11). Is there something else i am meant to do?

I've passed these 2 onto the teacher to have a play around If the above didn't work then i'll have to speak to the trust about the GPO edit

It only appears to do it on this one PC (that im aware off), it did it when we had a projector in and then we replaced it with a screen but it is still does it but not as often

Hi, one of our PCs when you go out of powerpoint, it flicks from duplicate to single screen but its not all the time, its every so often. we appear to be on the latest graphics (nothing in the dell command update) and the latest windows updates. Has anyone come across this? it only does it on the app not the web based powerpoint but not every powerpoint.

Hi, Unsure where to post this, we are thinking of moving to a system where we ditch phyiscal passes and have them on our student ipads. we need something that can allow custom passes that could also run out after a set time (some examples below) Student A has a medical pass Student B has a toilet pass Student C has an early lunch pass for an event So a student can log into the app on there ipads and see what passes they have but the passes are centrally managed Does any schools use an app for this? I was looking at securly pass but i don't think it fully does what we require

I could pass you on the details for the company we use (they are uk based but unsure where abouts you are)if you want any advice

ours is the sports hall so a ball would probably destory the projector, the set up takes about 5 mins to get up and down, my plan is a screen with a power lead they just plug in (and it turns on the screen, boots up the connected apple tv in the bracket thingy) and the also we have one of them sports curtains right in the way where we could mount it to the wall so everything would have to get offset. I am looking at getting a quote for new projectors in the hall (they're both nearly over 10 years old and look naff) as TVs wouldn't work in our main hall due to the stage

The company who does all our screens / installs says 86" will fit perfectly fine through the door (you'd had to lower it down obviously) We got this quoted https://www.vestelvisualsolutions.com/eu/products/interactive-flat-panel/da86a-6k We usually go for V9s or V10s but the vestel one was way cheaper (our signage screens use vestel)

Had a supplier in to have a look. We're more likely going for a portable 86" (on one of them motorised stands)

Thanks, i found the activation keys on the side of the screen, the only issue we have is that one of them got rubbed out or something so waiting on the supplier for that Thanks, i'll let Head Office know (they generally deal with installing packages)

Hi, Thinking of installing it across site as we have roughly 20 screens and got more in the pipeline and i remember how good the software use to be. i know back in the day we had to put a product activation into every install (we had 3 of them projector mounted to the whiteboard, can't remember the model). With the V9s (we have V10s planned for the rest), do you just put the screen S/N into the software? I'm also hoping i get the software pushed out via intune

22", i wanted 24" but we went with 22" in the end

Hi, Our current system is a little trolley that gets rolled out if needed and set up etc but we might be looking at something more permantly Has anyone ever had Large screens in sports halls? (with shutters etc) or what would you recomment for something more permament that doesn't require any setup. I know one screen wouldn't be enough so we may need 2

Hi, We're rather stuck with an issue (Arbor, SICT and Locker aren't sure where the duplicated data is) Our ASM Sync keeps failing due to duplicated roasters (seems to be related to forms). Students have one form so its not that. Our year groups classes have modules which are the forms such as 1A, 2B, 3B, 4B (for example) Could this be causing the duplication issue in the ASM upload? We can't find any duplicated forms anywhere

So after reading this thread, we've not done any patches apart from the filesets (i've not heard any known issues when they did the cenus) and we're a high school Considering all the issues, is it worth just skipping the patches?

ye spent an hour last night as i was bored tightening them up, just some doors seem to get worse than others so just wondering if there was anything else i was missing
