Hi all, I am in the middle of creating the new image for the school and one thing I need to do it make Office default to a certain font and no line spacing. Not done this before, can it be done for all staff users on all PC's? GPO? or done on the actual Image PC. Also when you launch word, you get a list of templates you can use, is there a way i can put the school letter template in here but it be modified from a central place and not having to go around every PC? Thanks

Hi KMount, Thanks for the information. I was going to get the new host in place of the Dells. The Dells have a year left of warrently, but this summer I am doing a whole network rebuild, 30x POE switches, OM4 Fibre, 20 Gig to each stack, new HP SAN 10 Gig link to the hosts, so thought I replaced the Hosts while its all out anyway. I have always used HP servers, so was looking at replacing them with a couple of 10 core servers.. HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 2 x Intel Xeon E5-2650v3 10-Core 2.30GHz 25MB - - - - - 128GB PC4-17000P-R 2133MHz RDIMM No issues with it but if I can get better that would be good.

Can I get away with 2 hosts??

Hi, I am about to re-image all my PCs in the school and wanted to know if it is a good idea to loads Solus and Sims onto the base image or will it cause an issue with things like ID's Thanks

The current owner of the folder is Administrators (File-Server\Administrators), would this need to be changed to domain admin

How would they just become compressed, we use file server resources manager but cant see compression settings. I right clicked, properties, advance and un-ticked compression, but it says an error occurred applying attributes to the files, access denied, that's as administrator domain.

Guys, Some students home drive files and folder text are now blue and staff cannot access them, but the student can. Any ideas?

A mail box got deleted a while back, I can't seem to find it to restore it. Can I set a new mail box up with the same email address from scratch? This user has been with the school for years so I can't give him another email address. Thanks

Had to delete the grace period key in Regedit, all licensing is working now.

I have just done the license and everything has a green tick and said its all licenses under RD Licensing Manager, but I cannot RDP into it internally, It says, The remote session was disconnected because there are no remote desktop license servers available to provide a license. Guys, How did you set WiseSoft to just look at one OU ( Students ) I am testing it now and it looks at the whole of AD with Account operator rights
