Hi All,, When staff are on the school BYOD WIFi https://email.domain.co.uk doesn't work and same on the mobile phones, but will work when staff are at home internet or on 4g. We have smoothwall but unfortunately no credits left so they won't help us. Any help would be great. Thanks,

Hi, Currently staff OST files are stored in the homedrive of that user and they are using roaming profiles. When a user is logged onto a PC emails are fine, when they log onto the laptop they have and and try using outlook 2013 it says this. (Link copied from google) https://support.microsoft.com/Library/Images/3072624.png If a user log of the PC the email works and if they log onto the laptop the PC email will not work. Looking at Office 365 and move away from onsite exchange, and was looking at these links, what is everyone on, Education 365 which I take it is free. Haven't change anything. The VM was pulled over onto a new SAN and 2 new host, but that was 6-8 weeks ago. Its been working fine since.

Hello All, Got an issue with Exchange. First of all, Staff mailboxes become dismounted and show disconnected on the client site. Content index corrupted. We repaired the mailbox database which worked for a while, repaired content index worked for 2-3 days. Students mail box become dismounted, done the same as above for repair, worked for a while, after both dismounted again. OWA works fine. Anyone have any idea's on what this could be.

Cut a long story short, I had a well known company come into my school done a full network rebuild and tbh they have messed it up, waste of money, but I have issue I need correcting asap. Anyway,,, Few issues I still have. User profiles on the server for staff and student have to always be deleted and it seems they become corrupt. When a staff or student sometimes log on, it comes up with a different start menu like this http://support.kaspersky.com/images/ksosfs_5594_03_en13-132164.jpg when it should look like this , http://www.tech-recipes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/windows7-start-menu-618x350.jpg It doesn't pull over the wallpaper and again, profile has to be deleted. Mapped drives are done via item level targeting and some users get drives they shouldn't. Server is 2012, Client Windows 7, TS they use for home logon is Windows 2008 r2. Thanks,

I just paid them for remote, so they could redo my my web filtering and firewall and now get told about these credits. Speaking with a couple of other network managers they were not even aware of this.

Got smoothwalll at the moment and only just finding out now, you are only allowed 45 credits ( Calls ) to the helpdesk over 3 years. You still get for priority 1 and priority 2 support but to be honest for the amount of money we paid it isn't worth it. If I want extra credits its £750.00 for 10 credits!!! Wtf!! Anyway, I am binning this and don't want to go back onto LGFL filtering system if I can help it but it is my last resort. What other companies have people use that provide web filter and firewall control. Thanks.

Raw connection with a bunch of IP's, my email server is currently using the Admin Lan but it needs to all be changed onto the OP2 connection raw using the internal firewall. So, It is just a case of changing my A record for my domain name to hit the new public address so it can be accessed from my web site. email.schoolname.co.uk? I guess allow the public address to hit the internal address of the email server via my smoothwall? Any settings within exchange need changing? Thanks

I want to just make it simple, Staff Students ICT Team - White List Guest and I now have a new Meru Wifi system with various SSID which I want the student and staff poilcy to use, example, Student BYOD, Staff BYOD Any help with be great.
